Abstract

Stabförmiger Lichtleiter, insbesondere für eine Signalleuchte für Kraftfahrzeuge, bestehend aus einem Stabkörper (1) mit mindestens einer Lichteinkoppelfläche (2,3) und einer in Richtung einer Längsachse (8) angeordneten, quer zur Längsachse (8) abstrahlenden Lichtaustrittsfläche (5), einer der Lichtaustrittsfläche (5) gegenüberliegenden reflektierenden Fläche (4) mit lichtablenkenden Mitteln (14), die über die Lichteinkoppelfläche eingekoppeltes Licht über die Lichtaustrittsfläche (5) abstrahlen, und mit zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Seitenflächen (6,7), die die Lichtaustrittsfläche (5) und die reflektierende Fläche (4) miteinander verbinden, wobei die Seitenflächen (6,7) im quer zur Längsachse (8) angeordneten Querschnitt des Stabkörpers (1) mindestens zwei lichtkonzentrierende Punkte (15,17) bilden, so dass parallel zur Längsachse (8) nichtzentrische Brennlinien (19,20) entstehen, auf denen die lichtkonzentrierenden Punkte (15,17) der zugehörigen Seitenflächen (6,7) angeordnet sind.
