Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren nach Anspruch 1. Der Aufzeichnungsträger ist insbesondere eine Ausweis- oder Wertkarte mit wenigstens einer Kartenkörper bildenden Schicht und einer transparenten auflaminierten Deckschicht sowie wenigstens einem flächigen Sicherheitselement, das mit Sicherheitsinformationen, insbesondere holographischen oder kinegraphischen Informationen versehen ist.The invention relates to a method according to claim 1. Aufzeichnungsträger sind insbesondere als Ausweis- oder Wertkarten oder als sogenannte "Datapages" in Reisepässen bekannt. Zum Stand der Technik wird hier beispielsweise auf die DE 3048733 C , DE 3151407 C , DE 4134539 A , DE 3840729 C . und auf die EP 0,230,497 A verwiesen. Die US-A-5658 411 offenbart ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Laminates, das eine Ausweiskarte sein kann. Hierbei wird eine Schutzschicht auf ein Sicherheitselement auflaminiert. Das Sicherheitselement kann holographische Informationen enthalten und befindet sich auf der obersten Schicht eines Kartenkörpers. Dem Fachmann ist auch bekannt, dass die Fälschungssicherheit solcher Aufzeichnungsträger mit einem kinegraphischen oder holographischen Sicherheitselement wesentlich erhöht werden kann. Solche Sicherheitselemente werden beispielsweise mittels eines Heissprägeverfahrens auf den Aufzeichnungsträger aufgebracht. Hierbei sind die Sicherheitselemente unterseitig auf eine bandförmige Trägerfolie aufgedampft. Diese Sicherheitselemente werden mittels eines beheizten Stempels im Heissprägeverfahren übertragen. Nach dem Heissprägen wird die bandförmige Trägerfolie abgezogen. Die aufgedampfte Schicht ist eine ausserordentlich dünne Metallschicht, beispielsweise aus Aluminium. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, dass solche Sicherheitselemente durch Abnutzung oder sonstige Beanspruchung beschädigt werden und damit weitgehend Ihre Sicherheitfunktion verlieren. Um dies zu vermeiden ist es bekannt, das Sicherheitselement nach dem Aufprägen mit einem Lack zu überziehen. Der in Figur 1 im Schnitt gezeigte Aufzeichnungsträger 1 ist beispielsweise ein kartenförmiger staatlicher Ausweis oder beispielsweise eine Kreditkarte. Ein Kartenkörper C wird durch drei Schichten 3, 4 und 5 gebildet. Diese Schichten sind miteinander verbunden, beispielsweise und vorzugsweise durch ein Laminierverfahren. Erkennbar sind somit auch die auf dem Sicherheitselement 8 aufgebrachten Informationen 12 (Figur 4), also insbesondere holographische und kinegraphische Elemente, insbesondere Zeichen und bildliche Darstellungen. Die einzulaminierenden Sicherheitselemente 8 sind auf eine bandförmige Trägerfolie 7 aufgedampft. Die Trägerfolie 7 bildet mit den aufgedampften Sicherheitselementen 8 ein Band 9, das vorzugsweise eine Rolle bildet. Um die Sicherheitselemente 8 einzulaminieren, wird das Band 9 über einen Bogen 15 gezogen. Mittels eines Prägestempels 10 werden die Sicherheitselemente 8 aus dem Band 9 ausgestanzt und unter Wärmeeinwirkung auf den Bogen 15 aufgebracht. Die an der Unterseite des Sicherheitselementes 8 aufgebrachte Siegelschicht 6 wird hierbei in an sich bekannter Weise erwärmt und verbindet das Sicherheitselement 8 mit dem Bogen 15. An der Unterseite des Stempels 10 ist eine Schneidkante 10' angeordnet, mit welcher das Sicherheitselement 8 sowie der entsprechende Bereich der Trägerfolie 7 ausgestanzt werden. Nach dem Ausstanzen ist im Band 9 entsprechend ein Durchbruch 11 vorhanden, wie dies in Figur 3 ganz rechts angedeutet ist. Wesentlich ist nun, dass nach dem Heissiegeln der ausgestanzte Bereich 7' der Trägerfolie auf dem ausgestanzten Sicherheitselement 8' verbleibt, wie dies ebenfalls in Figur 3 ganz rechts angedeutet ist. Der Bogen 15 ist so gross gewählt, dass mehrere solche Sicherheitselemente 8' im Abstand zueinander aufgebracht und mehrere Aufzeichnungsträger 1 aus dem Bogen 15 ausgestanzt werden können. Ist der Bogen 15 mit sämtlichen vorgesehenen Sicherheitselementen 8' versehen, so werden auf und unter diesem Bogen die weiteren vorgesehenen Bogen auflaminiert. Schliesslich werden aus den miteinander verbundenen Bögen die Aufzeichnungsträger 1 ausgestanzt. Der Bogen 15 bildet hierbei die Schichten 3 des ausgestanzten Aufzeichnungsträger 1.The einzulaminierenden security elements 8 are vapor-deposited on a band-shaped carrier sheet 7. Claims (4)

  1. Method for the manufacture of a data carrier, in particular an identification card or payment card, whereby at least one transparent layer (2) is laminated onto an additional layer (3) and a planar security element (8) that carries security information (A) is applied, characterized in that with a hot stamp or hot press stamp (10) having a punching contour said security element (8) is punched out of a band (9) having a carrier layer (7) and is applied with the punched carrier layer (9) onto the additional layer (3), wherein a sealing layer (6) that is arranged on a underside of the security element (8) is heated by said hot press stamp or hot seal stamp (10) and said press or sealing layer (6) connects the security element (8) with the additional layer (3), and in that the security element (8) is together with the punched carrier layer (7) laminated between the transparent layer (2) and the additional layer (3) and is provided with the carrier layer (7) as protective layer (7) which is also laminated.
  2. Method as claimed in Claim 2, characterized in that the security element (8) is vapor deposited onto the carrier film (7).
  3. Method as claimed in Claim 13, characterized in that the security element (8) is made of a vapor deposited metal.
  4. Method as claimed in one of the Claims 11 to 14, characterized in that the security element (8) is a holographic or kinegraphic element.
