Description

The present invention relates to an electrical Connecting device according to the preamble of the claim 1.

In such a known from EP 0 964 478 A2 electrical connection device are the in Longitudinal section profiled and at one end in Insulated clamped contacts on their from the Insulator protruding free end like a kind lying U bent back. The contact point is the one with the opposite other electrical Contact the component, at the extreme end of the bent back Provided part of the free end area. adversely this is due to the relatively large overall length and the relatively complex Formation of the contacts, because of the bent back one free and freely movable part of the contact opposite the projecting part must be relatively stable his.

From US 5,967,797 is a contact array for contacting known from integrated circuits, in which a variety of contacts that take the form of one narrow web of rounded, right-angled, interconnected Have triangles in the connection area of the insulating body are encapsulated. In the area of a triangular shape the contact is bent at an acute angle so that it 0.3 mm above the insulating body, the other triangular shape becomes a contact surface parallel to the underside of the insulating body bent.

The object of the present invention is an electrical Connection device of the type mentioned create that of both the length and the design effort is cheaper here.

To solve this problem are in an electrical Connecting device of the type mentioned in claim 1 specified features provided.

The measures according to the invention make short contacts achieved, resulting in a shorter overall length electrical connection device. Through the special trapezoidal design of the freely movable End area of the contacts ensures that at contacting the contacts with the other electrical Component the free end area of the contacts in a defined Moved to an electrical component, whereby a pivoting movement around the transition to the cantilever area is performed. So the relatively short one Cantilever area not be reinforced separately.

Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Kontakte ergeben sich aus den Merkmalen der Ansprüche 2 und/oder 3.Advantageous configurations of the contacts result from the features of claims 2 and / or 3.

To fix the electrical connection device the one component are the features in a preferred manner provided according to claim 4, so that no separate mechanical pin components or the like on the electrical connector device may be provided have to.

In an advantageous embodiment, the insulating body provided according to the features of claim 5, being more preferred according to the features of claim 6 Assign the contacts from the insulator after insertion Are overmolded.

An advantageous holder for the contacts in the insulating body result from the features according to claim 7.

For further fixation of the insulating body on one electrical component are the features of claim 8 provided an additional soldering fixation to the Allow areas facing away from contact points.

A further stabilization of the insulating body against bending forces is provided according to the feature of claim 9 a deflection of the leg 22 when the component is pressed on 12 is reduced.

The electrical Connection device 10 consists essentially of a Insulating body 13 of suitable shape and from several arranged side by side and in the insulating body 13 clamped or molded contacts 14, the end contact points or surfaces 18 or 19 with a Contact surface 16 of an electrical component 11 or with a parallel contact surface 17 of the other electrical component 12 electrically contacting are connected or connectable.

According to the drawing, the insulating body 13 in the manner of a rectangular frame with four circumferential legs 21, 22, 23 and 24 formed by which the two longitudinal legs 21 and 22 and the two cross legs 23 and 24 substantially parallel to each other. The individual legs 21 to 24 each have approximately the same thickness. The bottom 26 of the Insulator 13 is the one electrical component 11 and the top 27 of the insulating body 13 the other facing electrical component 12. Rear Longitudinal leg 22 has a substantial length of the edge running edge recess 28, while the two cross legs 23 and 24 on one the rear Longitudinal leg 22 facing area a relatively short Edge recess 31 and a parallel to it Have slot 32.

The metallic contacts 14, each exclusively in longitudinal alignment are in one Clamping area 41 made by injection molding Insulated body 13 overmolded. Any metallic contact 14 has a free and freely movable end region 36 the curved end of which the convex outer surface the front Contact point 19 forms. The free end region 36 has an elongated trapezoidal shape, the narrow base 37 integrally merges into the front contact point 19 and the broad base 38 in one piece with one cantilever region 39 provided with parallel side edges passes into the clamping area 41 within the Longitudinal leg 22 of the insulating body 13 merges. The Clamping area 41 is towards the bottom 26 of the rear Longitudinal leg 22 bent and tapered to the rear flat contact area 18 having end 42, wherein the contact surface 18 the bottom 26 of the Longitudinal leg 22 of the insulating body 13 protrudes. through the rear contact surface 18, the contacts 14 with the contact surfaces 16 of the not shown in detail an electrical component 11 is soldered. The end 42 the contacts 14 also protrudes into the edge recess 28 of the rear longitudinal leg 22. The cantilever region 39 extends approximately parallel to the end 42 or to the bottom 26 of the Insulating body 13. The transition 44 from the cantilever area 39 to free end region 36 is bent such that the free End region 36 at an acute angle from the plane of the Insulator 13 to the other electrical component 12 runs there. The cantilever area 39 is partially on the Bottom 52 of a level 49 at the rear Longitudinal leg 22 of the insulating body 13 parallel to it Bottom 26 is provided and in the approximately trapezoidal recess 51 of the frame of the insulating body 13 protrudes.

In the slot 32 of the cross legs 23, 24 of the Insulating body 13 is a soldering angle 46 with its one Leg 47 inserted, the other perpendicular to it extending leg 48 protrudes into the edge recess 32. This leg 48 runs on the underside 26 of the Insulator 13 and is with a corresponding metallic counter surface on an electrical component 11 solderable connectable. This results in a stable mechanical connection between the insulating body 13 and one electrical component 11.

If the other electrical component 12 in the direction of Arrow A with its corresponding contact surfaces 17 the front contact points 19 of the connecting device 10 brought and pressed down, there is one with one certain contact pressure provided solderless contacting electrical connection. When the end area moves 36 to the insulating body 13 (arrow A) deforms the wider collar area 39 also so that the contact point 19 substantially parallel to the bottom of the Insulating body 13, ie remains approximately horizontal. It oversees yourself that the electrical component 12 to maintain the electrical connection to the contact 14 the electrical connection device 10 or on or in mechanically fixed to a housing or the like and is held.

Through the movement and deformation of the end area described above 36 or the collar area 39, a torque is generated, that lead to a bending of the longitudinal leg 22 can. To counteract this, as shown in Fig. 4a Lugs 50 provided between the contacts 14 become an additional contact surface on the component 11 offer and represent a stiffener.

As can be seen from FIG. 4b, the bearing surface 62 of this lies Support tabs 50 in one plane with the contact surfaces 16.
