Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for converting circular vibrating electromagnetic radiation in linearly vibrating Rays.
In satellite technology, transmitters are used which are linearly oscillating Emitting rays, and others that are circularly vibrating Send out rays. As far as the transmitter linearly vibrating beams These can be sent with a Vibration Transducer (OMT) from a horizontal vibration in a vertically extending Vibration or from a vertical vibration be converted into a horizontal vibration, so that there is the possibility of the received rays the needs an antenna to align accordingly.
Difficulties have so far made such rays, which are circular Have oscillation. They could only be caught by antennas which were capable of circularly vibrating rays to recieve. A transformation of circularly vibrating rays into those suitable for linearly oscillating rays Antenna could be caught was not possible.
An apparatus for converting linearly into circularly vibrating beams is
is known from
Object of the present invention is therefore an apparatus to create that is capable of circularly vibrating rays for make the reception of antennas suitable, the linearly oscillating Can receive rays.
This object is achieved in that a depolarizer in a vibration converter rotatable between a vertical output for vertically oscillating beams and a horizontal output is stored for horizontally oscillating rays and between the horizontal output and the vertical output a Depolarisationssiellung is intended for circularly vibrating beams, in the dependent on the direction of rotation of the depolarizer a left-handed Vibrations exporting beam either the horizontal or the vertical output and a clockwise oscillations exporting Beam either the vertical output or the horizontal output can be supplied.
In this way, from the respective outputs of the vibration transducer linearly oscillating rays emerge, independently of whether the oscillator linear or circular oscillating Rays be forwarded. Depending on the equipment of an antenna the device can horizontally or vertically vibrating beams be removed. Independent of the respective radiation source can therefore always use antennas to receive the rays find suitable for receiving linearly vibrating beams are.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the depolarization position for circularly oscillating rays extends at an angle of 45 ° both to the horizontal and to the vertical direction. In compliance with this angular position of 45 0 is a particularly high-energy yield of circularly vibrating beams possible.
According to another preferred embodiment of the invention the depolarizer provided with a motor drive to its rotation. Here are expediently as drives electric drives used, since they can be controlled very cheap.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention the motor drive has a control that depends on the Vibration direction of incident rays. With the help of this Control can be independent of the direction of vibration of the incident Beams automatically rotations of the depolarizer be made, which are suitable, the depolarizer within position the vibration transducer so that from the vibration transducer Blasting with a respective desired direction of vibration escape.
According to another preferred embodiment of the invention the depolarizer depolarizing elements that are at vertical Oscillation of incident rays vertically aligned are. In this way, leave the vibrator in vertical Direction of vibrating rays, without any deformation would have taken place. Similarly, it can also be horizontal oscillating beams are moved.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention run with circulating vibration of the incident rays Depolarizing provided on the surface of the depolarizer Elements at an angle of 45 ° to both the horizontal and the horizontal vertical direction. At this setting of the depolarizer from the incoming rays either horizontal or the vertical component of the vibration transducer.
According to another preferred embodiment of the invention for the derivation of circularly vibrating rays as horizontal Oscillating rays of the depolarizer from the vertical direction its depolarizing elements towards the horizontal Direction of its depolarizing elements pivoted by 45 °. By this direction of rotation from the vertical direction of the depolarizing Elements in their horizontal direction becomes the vibration transducer put into the state, centrally swinging rays to convert into horizontally vibrating beams.
According to another preferred Asuführungsform the invention for the derivation of circularly vibrating rays as vertically oscillating Rays the depolarizer from the horizontal direction its depolarizing elements towards the vertical Direction of its depolarizing elements pivoted by 45 °. In this position, the converter leave the circular oscillating Blasting to a large extent than in the vertical direction swinging rays.
Further details of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed descriptions and attached drawings, in those a preferred embodiment of the Erfingung example is illustrated.

4 erstreckenden Mittelachse 18. In addition, the
Schlitze 20, 21 verlaufen parallel zueinander.The
schwingende Strahlen aus.A
durchgelassen.Similarly, with the help of the
The
The
verschwenkt. Diese Stellung ist in Figur 9 angedeutet. In diesem
Falle verlassen in vertikaler Richtung schwingende Strahlen den
Innenraum 4.For example, the depolarizing
bzw. Vertikalen verlaufen. Diese Schwenkstellung des Depolarisators
ist in den Figuren 8, 11 und 12 dargestellt. In dieser
Schwenkstellung werden die zirkular polarisierenden Strahlen entweder
in horizontal oder vertikal schwingende Strahlen umgewandelt. In contrast, occur in the
zirkular schwingenden Strahlen in linear vertikal schwingenden
Strahlen umgesetzt.
schwingenden Strahlen umgesetzt. The transformation of circularly vibrating rays into those that are linear

Strahlung.When using an
