Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un système de mesure servant à mesurer la visualisation d'informations vidéo affichées dans une fenêtre d'un écran d'un dispositif de visualisation et comprenant un logiciel de mesure et un organe créditeur. Le logiciel de mesure détermine les données d'identification relatives aux informations vidéo affichées dans la fenêtre, et l'organe créditeur applique un ensemble de règles de crédit pour déterminer s'il faut créditer ces données d'identification. Le logiciel de mesure détermine si le dispositif de visualisation possède une interface COM ou une interface API ou s'il doit être interrogé d'une autre façon, et il détermine les données de canal à partir d'un objet relatif au canal de l'interface COM, à partir des données relatives à l'application associées à une application vidéo par l'intermédiaire de l'interface API ou à partir d'une autre source d'interrogation. Le logiciel de mesure détermine également un code d'identification auxiliaire correspondant aux informations vidéo affichées.
