Abstract

The ventilator drive is supported in the centre (3) of a rear wall of a box-shaped cooling unit (1) having a ventilator and several coolers. Aus Fig. 1 ist zu erkennen, daß die Rückwand 8 eine Rahmenkonstruktion ist, die vier Seiten 25 bis 28 aufweist, die aus profiliertem Aluminium bestehen. Drei Tragstreben 12, 13 und 14 erstrecken sich zum Zentrum 3, in dem das Antriebsorgan 7 des Ventilators 2 drehbar gelagert ist. (Fig. 2) Im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist das Antriebsorgan 7 eine stufenlos schaltbare elektromagnetische Kupplung. Die Kupplung 7 ist mit einer angetriebenen Riemenscheibe 9 ausgerüstet und auf der Abtriebsseite mit dem Laufrad des Ventilators 2 verbunden. Mit dem Zentrum 3 ist ein Träger 15 verbunden. Bei einem nicht gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Träger 15 nicht mit dem Zentrum 3 sondern mit der Rahmenkonstruktion der Rückwand 8 verbunden.From Fig. 1 it can be seen that the rear wall 8 is a frame structure having four sides 25 to 28, which consist of profiled aluminum. In diesem Ausführungsbeispiel weisen die Zugfeder 23 und der Pneumatikzylinder 24 ein gemeinsames Widerlager 32 an der Tragstrebe 12 auf. Der Pneumatikzylinder 24 ist ausschließlich an dem Widerlager 32 befestigt worden, während für die Funktion der Zugfeder 23 eine Schiene 34 vorgesehen worden ist, die an ihrem Ende ein Gegenlager 35 für die Zugfeder 23 aufweist, das die im Betrieb der Kühlanlage 1 über den Spannhebel 17 auf die Zugfeder 23 einwirkenden Kräfte aufnimmt. Um die Keilriemen 11 zu lösen, wird die Kolbenstange 33 des doppelt wirkenden Pneumatikzylinders 24 ausgefahren, wodurch der Spannhebel 17 um den Schwenkpunkt 16 gedreht und die Spannrolle 18 eine Position einnimmt, in der das Abnehmen der Keilriemen 11 erfolgen kann. Selbstverständlich könnten anstelle der Zugfeder 23 und des Pneumatikzylinders 24 auch ein bekanntes Spannelement 22 eingesetzt werden, das beide Funktionen in sich vereinigt. Ein solches Spannelement 22, daß in sich eine Spannfeder mit einem Dämpfungselement aufweist ist z. B. Gegenstand der DE 40 39 815. Wobei dann allerdings ein schwenkbares Gegenlager 32 vorgesehen werden muß, um den Keilriemen 11 wechseln zu können.On the carrier 15, the pivot point 16 or pivot point of the clamping lever 17 has been provided. Aus Fig. 2 geht hervor, daß die Kühlanlage verschiedene Kühler 4, 5 und 6 aufweist. Ein weiterer nicht gezeigter Kühler befindet sich gegenüber dem Kühler 6, so daß die Kühlanlage 1 an allen vier Seiten einen Kühler aufweist. Es versteht sich jedoch, daß diese Kühler auch verschaltet sein können, so daß es sich dann nicht mehr um unterschiedliche Kühler handelt. Beispielsweise könnte der Kühler 6 und der Kühler 5 ein gemeinsamer Kühlflüssigkeitskühler sein. Im Ausführungsbeispiel ist der obere Kühler 4 ein Ladeluftkühler. Der Ladeluftkühler 4 hat eine Hinterkante 30, die sich in der Ebene 31 befindet. Die Hinterkante 30 der anderen Kühler 5 und 6 befindet sich in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel weiter vorne. Vor der beschriebenen Ebene 31 sind die beiden Riemenscheiben 9 und 10 und die Spannrolle 18 angeordnet worden, die in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ebenfalls auf einer Ebene 19 angeordnet sind. Die Reimenscheiben 9 und 10 und die Spannrolle 18 könnten jedoch sehr wohl auch versetzt zueinander, also nicht in einer gemeinsamen Ebene 19 liegend, angeordnet sein. Die antreibende Riemenscheibe 10 ist mit einem Anschlußflansch 35 versehen, an den eine nicht gezeigte Antriebswelle der Antriebsmaschine angeschlossen wird. Aus der Fig. 2 geht auch hervor, daß der Ventilatorantrieb und die gesamte Kühlanlage 1 so ausgebildet wurden, daß keinerlei Überstand nach hinten vorhanden ist, weshalb eine raumsparende, kompakte Gestaltung der Kühlanlage mit der Antriebsmaschine erreicht worden ist.From Fig. 2 it is apparent that the cooling system has different radiators 4, 5 and 6. Claims (8)

  1.     characterized in that
    the rear wall (8) has supporting struts (12; 13; 14) which merge in the centre (3), within the cooling system (1), where the drive element (7) of the fan (2) is mounted, with a support (15) which is connected to the rear wall (8) being arranged outside the centre (3) and the fulcrum (16) of a tensioning lever (17), which has a tensioning roller (18), being located on the said support,
    and in that the driving belt pulley (10), the driven belt pulley (9) and the tensioning roller (18) are arranged in front of or in the plane (31) in which the rear edge (30) of the radiators (4; 5; 6) or the rear edge (30) of that radiator (4) of the cooling system (1) which projects furthest to the rear is situated.
  2. Fan drive according to Claim 1, characterized in that the driving belt pulley (10), the driven belt pulley (9) and the tensioning roller (18) are arranged in a common plane (19).
  3. Fan drive according to Claim 1, characterized in that the plane of the tensioning roller (18) and the plane or planes of the belt pulleys (9; 10) are arranged such that they are offset in relation to each another.
  4. Fan drive according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the tensioning roller (18) is mounted such that it can rotate at one end (20) of the tensioning lever (17), one end of at least one tensioning element (22) is fixed to the other end (21) of the said tensioning lever, and the other end of the said tensioning element is fixed to one of the supporting struts (12) of the rear wall (8).
  5. Fan drive according to Claim 4, characterized in that there are two tensioning elements (22), one of these tensioning elements being a tension spring (23) and the other tensioning element being a dual-action working cylinder (24) which can be acted on pneumatically.
  6. Fan drive according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a profiled cover is arranged between the supporting struts (12; 13, 14).
  7. Fan drive according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that one of the belt pulleys (9; 10) is equipped with means which change the rotational speed, and the drive element (7) of the fan (2) is a drive shaft.
  8. Fan drive according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the drive element (7) is an infinitely switchable clutch which is connected to the belt pulley (9) on the drive side and to the impeller of the fan (2) on the output side.
