Abstract

Figure 00000001
The winch construction of the excavator consists of a winch 5 attached to the end of the boom 2 near the superstructure, preferably above the pivot point of the boom 2, with the associated rope drum and a rope run-in 6 carried out centrally between the side cheeks 2a of the boom 2 The end of the cable inlet 6 opens out on the underside of the jib 2. A deflection roller 8 is arranged between the cable inlet 6 and the cable winch 5, which increases the distance between the cable inlet 6 and the cable winch 5 and thus ensures a significantly improved winding of the cable 7. The cable inlet 6 is preferably provided with an endlessly rotatable rotary head 6a with at least two guide rollers 6b for improved guidance of the cable 7 opening into the cable inlet 6.
