Description

The invention relates to a three-dimensional knitted cover, the can be produced without subsequent confectioning work. Such seat covers are e.g. known from EP 0 361 855 B1. The disadvantage of these three-dimensional relations is the fact that the optics in the region of the contour lines, such. Spickellinien, not very homogeneous and therefore not necessarily very is appealing.

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a knitted cover and a To provide a method of making the knitted cover, the conceal the contour lines in a visually appealing way. This object is achieved by a knitted cover according to the claim 1 and with a method for making a knitted cover according to claim 9. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the associated subclaims.

According to the invention, in the region of at least one contour line, a tubular knit is integrated and knitted on the seat cover. Under contour line is understood below one of the following areas:
  • Line at which he changes the knitting method,
  • Increase, Minor or Spikeline
  • Corner, edge or edge of a two- or three-dimensional seat cover or
  • strongly contoured areas of a three-dimensional reference.

This tubular knit is used during manufacture, i. while knitting the seat cover to the seat cover, so that it is integrally connected to the cover. This can be done either by transferring prefabricated parts over one Comb realized in the knitting area of the flat knitting machine or by knitting the tubular knit on separate Needle beds and subsequent transfer to the needle beds, on which the knitted cover is knitted. The bead or tubular knit not according to the invention in the reference knitted while the remaining needles for knitting of the reference remain inactive, as already known from EP-A-0 361 855. Through the hose knit is the Contour line covered in the manner of a welt and thus a visual created an appealing image. In addition, the contour line protected against mechanical damage.

The tubular knit does not have to be in the form of a closed Hose may be present, but may also be in the form of a single layer knitted flag be formed, or in the form of a two-ply knitted flag, e.g. a position closer and / or Knitted with elastic thread material and / or thermally treated so that this situation is closer or closer than the another situation is whereby the flag becomes an open one Hose rolls up. However, the hose knit can also knit as a closed tube. For the function as optical lamination and as mechanical protection of the contour lines is the type of training of the hose knit not relevant.

The tube can of course be used to produce different Optics with patterns, markings, defined holes, Reinforcements, optical fibers, different binding variants, made of thermoplastic materials or elastic materials, e.g. with a rubber thread with a greater elasticity 50% or knit, making this piping as well Bumper can be used.

The tube may vary in the course of its longitudinal extension be knit thick, or it may be by spinning Zackenrand be generated. In this way, the most diverse Create patterns, but all in the same way hide the contour lines or against mechanical influences protect to form a bumper.

In the following drawing, eight different forms of training a hose fabric are shown, for example. In the drawing show:
Fig. 1
a closed hose knit;
Fig. 2
a closed tubular knit with radially extending patterns;
Fig. 3
a closed tubular fabric with defined holes;

Fig. 6
a Zackenrand made in Spickeltechnik;
Fig. 7
a closed hose knit with changing diameter, and
Fig. 8
a closed tubular knit with dot pattern.

The tubular knitwear shown in Fig. 1 to 8 can be in the range of knit contour lines, e.g. Spinning lines, Increase / Minor areas Provide and / or in the range of contour lines a three-dimensional seat cover, e.g. on edges or Corner areas.

Der Tubus kann jedoch auch ungefüllt bleiben.1 shows a conventional, closed tubular knitted fabric, optionally during manufacture or subsequently, for example with a monofilament, can be filled. This is particularly advantageous if the tube as a prefabricated Part, e.g. by the meter, in the knitting area of the Transfer flat knitting machine and then in the knitting area the knitted cover is entangled. However, the tube can also be unfilled stay.

Die Fig. 2 und 3 zeigen einfache Musterungsmöglichkeiten eines Schlauches, wobei die Streifenmuster in Fig. 2 beispielsweise durch Jaquardtechnik bzw. durch eingelegte Schuß- oder Kettfäden erzeugt werden kann.FIGS. 2 and 3 show simple patterning possibilities of a Hose, wherein the strip pattern in Fig. 2, for example by jacquard technique or by inserted weft or warp threads can be generated.

The holes of FIG. 3, by simply reducing and again increase or be generated by spinning. A nice one bicolor configuration can be generated here by that in the hose a monofilament with a different color inserted is. The hose can be knitted black, for example while the monofilament is red, so this is in the range the perforations seem out of the tube. The Monofilament could also be an optical fiber, which is particularly appealing visual effects due to the perforations out seeming optical fiber can be achieved.

The tubular knit shown in Fig. 4 is generated when for example, the hose in its outward-facing area knit with a rubber thread and the hose wall fixed at intervals to the knit cover, e.g. entangled. In this way you get the illustrated, slightly wavy Tubus, which also has a very good function as a butt edge and thus preferably in edge or corner regions of the cover can be used. Preferably, the first rows with a knitted elastic thread and held point by point on the needles, while the rest of the hose is normal Thread is knitted.

Fig. 5 zeigt eine andere Ausbildungsform eines Schlauchgestricks. Fig. 5 shows another embodiment of a hose knit. The hose knit is here by a rolled up Flag formed, which thus also like the closed Hoses of Figures 1 to 4 a tubular bead forms. Also, this bead-like structure is in the sense of the claim referred to as tubular knit. The bead will created by, for example, the flag knitted two-ply and a layer is knitted closer and / or with An elastic thread is knitted, resulting in this situation contracting more than the other situation. This leads to the flag in the manner shown in Fig. 5 bead-like curls.

Of course, can be in a tube of FIG. 8 also create punctiform pattern effects, if for example the knit two layers of the tube of different colors and the stitches are hung in the decorative dot area are, for example by Jaquardtechnik and optionally be highlighted by catch.

Fig. 6 und 7 zeigen zwei weitere Ausbildungsmöglichkeiten eines Schlauchgestrickes bzw. gestrickten Wulstes, dessen Geometrie in axialer Richtung variiert. Es konnen auch axial alternierend unterschiedliche Bindungen verwendet werden.FIGS. 6 and 7 show two further training possibilities of one Tubular knitted or knitted bead whose geometry varies in the axial direction. In Fig. 7, the thickness of the Tube, so that a kind of wave-like appearance of the tube is achieved. Manufacturing technology, this can be quite simple realize that the mesh in different axial Regions of the tube different firm and / or with different thick thread materials are knitted. It can also used axially alternating different bonds become.

In Fig. 6 is a jagged formation of the tube thereby achieved that in the tube large perforations by Spickeltechnik be spared. Here, too, can be a very interesting Generate patterns, if necessary when filling the Tube with a different colored monofilament underlined can be.

The hose can be knitted on one or more surfaces and with openings, Reinforcements or patterns be provided.

If the hose is internally provided with a loop structure, e.g. Terry structure is knitted, which is through the tubular knit self-filled piping. If the loop side facing out, this can be used for decorative purposes become. The hose can also be filled by using a pile bond is worked.

To stabilize the hose this can in particular be knitted at the ends with a melted thread.
