Ein anderes Ende der beiden Leitungen dient als symmetrischer Anschluß. Das gegenüberliegende Ende der anderen Leitung ist mit einem Ende des in kurzgeschlossener Schaltungskonfiguration ausgeführten Leitungskopplers verbunden. Von diesem Leitungskoppler sind zwei einander gegenüberliegende Enden der beiden Leitungen mit Masse kontaktiert, und ein anderes Ende einer Leitung bildet einen weiteren Anschluß für symmetrische Signale. Die beiden miteinander verbundenen Leitungsenden der beiden Leitungskoppler bilden das Anschlußtor für unsymmetrische Signale. Um eine enge 3 dB-Kopplung zwischen den Leitungen zu erzielen, ist hier das Symmetrierglied in Mehrlagentechnik aufgebaut.
