Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Arretierung eines Katalysatorträgers in einem Abgaskanal einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine, wobei eine Quellmatte thermisch zwischen dem Katalysatorträger und einem Katalysatorgehäuse expandiert wird.
Es ist vorgesehen, daß eine für die thermische Expansion der Quellmatte (16) aufzubringende Wärmeenergie durch direkte oder indirekte, insbesondere induktive, elektrische Bestromung erzeugt wird.
