Claims (10)

  1. Device for releasably connecting a pencil sharpener (8) to a pencil (1), e.g. a pencil for writing, painting or marking purposes, which device
    can be attached in a releasably adhering manner, in the manner of a cap or sleeve (17) which engages around the pencil shank (4), from one pencil end (7, 13),
    contains an elastomeric material, e.g. plastic, or consists of plastic which, at least in respect of its adhering surface, has a coefficient of friction which is sufficient for an adhering fit, and
    bears a retaining protrusion (20) for engaging in the pencil-guiding channel (9) of the sharpener (8) in a likewise releasably adhering manner,
    the retaining protrusion (20) containing a plurality of protrusion segments (22) which
    are spaced apart one beside the other in the radial direction in relation to the projecting direction (23) of said protrusion,
    project from the attachment cap or sleeve (17) in the projecting direction (23), and
    can be deflected elastically, counter to the direction of their spacing from one another, in order to produce a permanent expansion pressure.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the retaining protrusion (20) is positioned outside the attachment side (15) of the shaped body (21) which forms the retaining device.
  3. Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the shaped body (21) is integral with, on the one hand, its attachment cap or sleeve (17) and, on the other hand, with its retraining protrusion (20).
  4. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the attachment cap or sleeve (17) and the retaining protrusion (20) are assigned to two mutually opposite ends of the shaped body (21).
  5. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that four identically sized and preferably identically configured protrusion segments (22) which are positioned one beside the other in the manner of fasces rods are provided.
  6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the attachment cap (17) forms a cavity which, in the position in which the cap has been plugged onto the pencil (1), is sealed in relation to the surrounding atmosphere.
  7. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the outer circumference of the protrusion segments (22) forms part of a circumferential casing, in particular cylinder casing, which concentrically encloses the longitudinal axis of the retaining protrusion (20).
  8. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the retaining protrusion (20) forms a radial constriction region (25) between its axially outer expansion fixing region (24) and its attachment end (15).
  9. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the internal diameter (26) of the attachment or plug-on opening (16) of the retaining cap or retaining sleeve (17) diverges from the inner end of the latter in the direction of the outer end, which is directed towards the attachment opening.
  10. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the material of the shaped body (21) has the erasing properties of an eraser.
