Abstract

La présente invention concerne un gène isolé à partir de Arabidopsis codant une protéine essentielle à la croissance des semis. Par ailleurs, cette invention concerne les procédés d'utilisation de cette protéine dans la découverte de nouveaux herbicides, sur la base du caractère essentiel du gène dans la croissance et le développement normaux. En outre, cette invention peut être utilisée dans un essai de criblage en vue d'identifier les inhibiteurs qui représentent des herbicides potentiels. Cette invention est également appliquée dans la mise au point de plantes tolérantes aux herbicides, de tissus végétaux, de graines végétales, et de cellules végétales.
