Abstract

This invention is a color photothermographic element comprising blue, green, and red recording units, each unit comprising a light sensitive silver halide emulsion, a blocked developing agent, and a silver salt of 1-phenyl-5-mercapto-tetrazole. The photothermographic element can also contain silver benzotriazole as an organic silver salt oxidizing agent.
Another embodiment of the invention is a color photothermographic element comprising blue, green, and red recording units, each of the units comprising at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion, a dye image-forming coupler, a blocked developer, and salicylanilide.
