Abstract
The invention relates to a light metal piston for internal combustion engines, with bearing bushes (4) placed in piston pin bores (2) of the pin hubs for the piston pin through which said piston is drivingly connected to the motor drive rod. In order to improve the tight fit of said bushes (4) in the piston pin bores, the piston is built in such a way that said bearing bush (4) is a bush wound from a laminated strip- or band shaped metallic material, which has a joint (6) that is closed in a compressed condition, and said wound bush exhibits a preferential orientation of the metallurgical grains thereof in a peripheral direction.

Es erweist sich desweiteren als besonders vorteilhaft, wenn die Buchse derart in der Kolbenbolzenbohrung orientiert ist, dass die Stoßfuge in Kolbenbolzenlängsrichtung betrachtet in der dem Schaftende des Kolbens zugewandten Hälfte der Kolbenbolzenbohrung, vorzugsweise im Segment zwischen 130 und 180 Grad, insbesondere zwischen 130 und 150 Grad angeordnet ist. Figur 1 zeigt einen Leichtmetallkolben aus einer Aluminium- Silizium-Legierung mit 7 bis 25 Gew.% Silizium. In die Kolbenbolzenbohrungen 2 ist je eine Lagerbuchse 4 eingesetzt, die Lagerbuchse wurde durch flüssigen Stickstoff sehr stark unterkühlt und dann in die Kolbenbolzenbohrung 2 eingesetzt.
Bei der Lagerbuchse 4 handelt es sich um eine gerollte Buchse mit einer Stoßfuge 6. Die Buchse 4 ist aus einem gewalzten streifen- bzw. bandförmigen Lagermaterial in Form einer CuZn31Si-Legierung hergestellt, wobei das Metallmaterial derart orientiert wird, dass die Walzrichtung mit der Umfangsrichtung der Lagerbuchse 4 übereinstimmt. Die gerollte Buchse 4 weist am einen Stoßabschnitt 8 eine Ausnehmung 10 und am anderen Stoßabschnitt 12 eine komplementär zur Ausnehmung 10 ausgebildete Zunge 14 auf. Im eingedehnten Zustand ist die Stoßfuge 6 geschlossen. Mit dem Bezugszeichen 15 ist eine Ausnehmung bezeichnet, durch welche später ein Sprengring ausgehoben werden kann, der in eine noch einzudrehende Nut eingesetzt ist, um den Kolbenbolzen axial zu sichern.FIG. 1 shows a light metal piston made of an aluminum-silicon alloy with 7 to 25% by weight of silicon.
