Abstract

The method involves associating several fluorescent cells with different fluorescent layers with each pixel and generating a drive voltage for the electrodes of each cell with drive electronics. The drive voltages associated with a pixel for the fluorescent cells are delayed relative to each other to compensate for the different response times of the different fluorescent materials. A cell has red, green and blue fluorescent materials in three fluorescent cells. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for driving a plasma display.
