  8. An endpiece according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized by the fact that the top edge (31") of the or each side portion slopes outwards and downwards.
  9. An endpiece according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized by the fact that the end part has two diametrically opposite fins (26; 26'; 26") disposed in a join plane, said fins extending at least in part on either side of the body (11) of the endpiece.
  10. An endpiece according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized by the fact that said end part (20; 20'; 20") co-operates with the body (11) of the endpiece to define an annular groove (25).
  11. An endpiece according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized by the fact that said side portion(s) (26') is/are connected to the body of the endpiece by bridges of breakable material (30).
  12. An endpiece according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized by the fact that it is made of polypropylene.
  13. A receptacle having an endpiece as defined in any preceding claim.
