Claims (10)
- A pyrotechnic device of connection and delay between detonating cords and/or between an igniter and detonating cords, characterized in that it includes:a cavity divided up in two parts (6, 7; 13, 14; 23, 24), the internal walls (2) of which are coated with a very flammable material;means (3; 30) for blocking one or several detonating cords in each of the parts; andmeans for communicating between the two parts.
- The pyrotechnic device of claim 1, characterized in that the two parts (13, 14; 23, 24) are separated by a partition (15; 25) and the communication means includes a track (16; 26), containing a slowly and regularly burning material, extending outside the cavity walls between openings (17, 18; 27, 28) communicating with each of the two cavity parts.
- The pyrotechnic device of claim 2, characterized in that it includes:a first hollow cylinder (11), the internal cavity of which is divided up in two parts (13, 14; 23, 24) by a partition (15; 25), and the external wall of which includes a track (16; 26) which communicates through openings (17, 18; 27, 28) with said parts; anda second hollow cylinder (12), the internal diameter of which corresponds to the external diameter of the first hollow cylinder and in which the first cylinder is inserted.

- The pyrotechnic device of claim 3 or 4, characterized in that said track (16; 71) extends helically.
- The pyrotechnic device of claim 3 or 4, characterized in that said track(s) (26; 61, 62, 63) extend rectilinearly.
- The pyrotechnic device of any of claims 3 or 6, characterized in that said track(s) (16; 26) are filled with a packed-down flammable powder.
- The pyrotechnic device of claim 3, characterized in that, on one side, the first cylinder divides up in several tubes (31, 34).
- The pyrotechnic device of claim 3, characterized in that, on one side, the first cylinder opens out in a fan (41).
- The pyrotechnic device of any of claims 1 to 8, wherein the blocking means (3; 30; 42) includes strips made of a flexible but relatively sturdy material, extending substantially perpendicularly to detonating cord insertion apertures, and likely to deform towards the inside upon insertion of a detonating cord, to block an extraction of the detonating cord.
