Die in den Fig. 1a, 1b und 1c dargestellten Zargenprofile weisen ein gerades Seitenteil 2 von mindestens 100 mm Länge auf, das nach Montage des Zargenprofils an der Wand des Gebäudes anliegt. Die gegenüberliegende Seite 3 ist mit Mitteln 5 zum Befestigen des Rahmens einer Tür oder eines Fensters versehen, im vorliegenden Beispiel mit einer vorstehenden Lippe 5, mit der ein entsprechend ausgebildetes Teil des Rahmens eine Rastverbindung eingehen kann. Zur Befestigung des Rahmens wird dieser durch das Zargenprofil 1 hindurch mit der Wand verschraubt.
