Definitions
- the invention relates to a drill bit for earthworking with a tooth part and a shaft for releasably fixing in a holder of a drilling device, wherein a tooth edge of the tooth part lies outside a shaft center line and a tooth cutting plane extends at an angle of attack to the shaft centerline.
- Drill teeth are used in drilling tools for earth drilling.
- the drill teeth are arranged, for example, in a drill head side by side so that the straight drill teeth cutting, which lie in one plane, form a radially extending cutting line.
- the moving on a circular path teeth with a fixed by the orientation of the bracket pressure angle of the cutting teeth are very unevenly loaded on the cutting line especially in changing soil conditions of different strength and hardness, whereby uneven forces and moments are introduced into the tooth
- the change of drill teeth in changing applications or wear takes place by knocking out the drill tooth from the holder, for which purpose a hole must be provided in the holder in order to reach the back of the shank of the drill tooth.
- a drill holder with a rear discharge bore is known for example from GB-A-1 204 194 and known from DE-U-296 12 342.
- DE-U-296 12 342 the tooth holder is used to hold drill teeth with konusartigem tooth part, the punctiform tooth blade is located exactly on a shaft center line of the drill tooth.
- US-A-5,143,163, US-A-4,917,196 and US-A-4,595,241 show boring teeth each having a tooth portion and a shank for releasably securing in a mounting of a drilling device.
- the tooth parts of these known drill teeth each have a tooth cutting edge whose tooth cutting plane extends at an angle of attack to the respective shaft centerline. According to US-A-5,143,163, this angle of attack can be very small and in particular go to zero.
- the drill teeth known from US Pat. Nos. 5,143,163 and 4,917,196 have holding openings in the shank which, according to US Pat. No. 4,917,196, serve for fixing the drill tooth in the drill tooth holder.
- Another drill tooth with a rear holding opening is known from US-A-4, 083,605.
- the invention has for its object to provide a drill of the type mentioned, which is particularly easy to detach from its holder.
- the tooth part has a through hole for pulling out the tooth from the holder.
- the pressure angle of the drill tooth can be adjusted and adjusted in a targeted manner depending on the respective soil conditions by changing the use of different drill teeth. So can different teeth with z. B. two or three different angles of attack can be used, which are fixed in the brackets of the drilling tool.
- a drill bit 1 of a rotary drilling tool has a front tooth part 2 and a rear shaft 3 (see FIG. 1), which is cylindrical and is provided for receiving in a bore 4 of a holder 5 (FIG. 2) of the rotary drilling tool.
- a transition section 6 between the shaft 3 and the substantially wedge-shaped tooth part 2 has a rectangular in cross section to a center line 7 of the shaft 3 rectangular shape.
- Two opposing shoulders 8, 9 on the support 5 see Figs.
- the tooth part 2 is attached to the transition section 6 relative to the shaft center line 7 pivoted, so that a tooth cutting plane 11 of the tooth part 2 (see Fig. 1), which forms the plane of symmetry of the tooth part 2 and in which the tooth cutting edge 12 extends to an angle of, for example. 5 ° is pivoted.
- the point of intersection of the tooth cutting plane 11 with the shaft center line 7 lies approximately at the transition section 6.
- the tooth cutting edge 12 may lie in a conventional manner on a straight line and be formed of a continuous toothed element or of a plurality of adjacent toothed elements with interruptions.
- the one or more tooth elements is or are in particular made of hard metal.
- Fig. 4 an alternative design of the tooth part 2 is shown, in which the tooth cutting edge 12, which is formed of, for example, five identical carbide tooth pins 13, 13 ', 13' ', lies on a curved line in the tooth cutting plane 11, so that the outer tooth pins 13 '' with respect to the inner tooth pins 13, 13 'are reset.
- Each tooth pin 13, 13 ', 13' ' is inserted and fixed in a recess 14 on the corresponding curved front edge 15 of the tooth part 2.
- the center lines 16, 16 ', 16' 'of the tooth pins 13, 13', 13 '' thus intersect the center line 17 of the tooth part 2, wherein, depending on the size of the curvature of the tooth cutting edge 12, the intersections within the tooth part 2 or on an extension of Center line 17 are outside of the tooth part 2. If the curvature of the tooth cutting edge 2 is a circular arc, then the center lines 16, 16 ', 16' 'of the tooth pins 13, 13', 13 '' intersect at a point on the center line 17.
- the two outer tooth pins 13 '' can be arranged and fixed on the tooth part 2 such that their cutting edges project beyond the side edges 18 of the tooth part 2, so that lateral wear of the tooth part 2 is reduced.
- a transverse bore or passage opening 19 is formed centrally in the tooth part 2.
- the drill tooth 1 can be pulled from its receiving position in the holder 5, wherein a substantially axial release force is applied.
- the drill tooth 1 is releasably held in a known manner, for example by means of clamping bush in the holder 5.
