Description

The invention relates to an additional handle for a drilling and / or Chisel hammer and a drilling tool equipped with the additional handle and / or chisel hammers.

For rotary hammers it is e.g. B. from DE-A-196 06 498 known radial handles use that by means of a around the tool axis and on the Hammer housing attachable clamp by the operator in any radial position relative to the tool axis defined by the longitudinal axis of the drill are fixable. Chisel hammers have a so-called spade handle proven, which is pivotable about the chisel axis and in addition about an axis perpendicular to the chisel axis in certain locking positions can be tilted towards or away from the chisel. A similar one Handle is known from DE-C-32 29 183.

With so-called combination hammers, i.e. Hammering both for drilling and also suitable for chiseling, usually only one stands for suitable handle variant available for an application less suitable for the other application. So the operator wants between Changing chisels and drilling is often a time-consuming exchange the handles required. Also a quick change to the current one Gripping position is only by converting or adjusting the respective handle possible.

From DE-U-88 09 840 a combination hammer is known, in which one Bracket an additional handle can be attached. The additional handle is there from a radial handle that can be attached directly to the bracket and an over a crossbar that can be attached to the bracket.

The invention has for its object a universal additional handle specify that is equally suitable for drilling and chiseling and which gives the operator several ergonomically sensible gripping positions without or offers with little adjustment effort.

The object is achieved by an additional handle with the Features of claim 1 solved. Advantageous further developments the invention can be found in the dependent claims.

According to the invention, an additional handle for a hammer drill and / or chisel specified, with a bracket; an option, on the bracket or directly radial handle attachable to the hammer, the handle axis essentially radial to one by the location of one picked up by the hammer Tool defined tool axis is arranged: and with a directly on the Mountable tangential handle, with a first handle section, the handle axis is substantially perpendicular and at a distance from the tool axis runs, and a second grip portion, the grip axis in essentially perpendicular and at a distance to the tool axis and essentially runs perpendicular to the grip axis of the first grip section.

By providing two types of handles according to the invention, namely one Radial handle for drilling and a tangential handle for chiseling, it is possible to switch between different ways of working without that a corresponding change of handle would have to be made. The particularly advantageous embodiment of the tangential handle, namely the division into a first and a second handle section perpendicular thereto allows the operator to use the hammer very much, especially when chiseling easy and safe to use.

The handle arrangement according to the invention ensures that all handle elements only in a quadrant perpendicular to the tool axis Level. This will make the remaining three quadrants of the Keep the level clear of the handle system so that it is also close to walls or Drilling or chiseling is possible in corners. The three handle sections offer three gripping options for optimal support of the while working occurring moments.

The tangential handle is due to the upward arrangement of its handle sections designed so that the hand can be quickly released from the handle at any time can and - e.g. B. in the event of an unexpected blockage of the drill - sticking hand is avoided.

In a particularly advantageous further development of the invention Radial handle releasably attached to the bracket, the releasability of the attachment of the tangential handle is not affected. This enables the radial handle quickly removed from the holder and for example on another Place directly on the hammer, which is particularly important for the vertical drilling down is advantageous.

In another advantageous development of the invention, the Tangential handle around an axis perpendicular to the tool axis pivotally attached to the bracket. This ensures that Tangential handle, for example, for setting the chisel in the direction of the chisel or for drilling or chiseling vertically downwards from the chisel swivel away to give the operator a convenient grip to offer. The pivoting of the tangential handle is possible without the To influence the attachment of the radial handle.

For this purpose, a locking element for locking the tangential handle is advantageous provided on the bracket, wherein also locking means a positive positioning of the tangential handle relative to the bracket and thus a secure connection between tangential handle and bracket during operation guarantee.

These and other features and advantages of the invention are explained in more detail below using an example with the aid of the accompanying figures. Show it:

Fig. 2
a front view of the hammer with the handle, seen in Figure 1 from the left. and
Fig. 3
a partial section of the handle of Fig. 1st

In den Fig. 1 und 2 ist ein als Bohr- und Meißelhammer dienender Hammer 1 abgebildet, der in seinem rückwärtigen Bereich einen Hauptgriff 2 aufweist, an dem sich in üblicher Weise auch der Ein/Aus-Schalter befindet.1 and 2 is a hammer serving as a hammer drill and chisel 1 shown, which has a main handle 2 in its rear area, where the on / off switch is also located in the usual way.

At the front end of a hammer housing 3 is a bracket 4 in itself known way set up. The hammer housing 3 takes in this area usually the gearbox and can be made of plastic or metal. The holder 4 is in the direction of a tool axis 5 on the hammer housing 3 pushed on and there at one end by means of itself known, serving as a fastener 4a clamping device in a any angular position relative to the tool axis 5 on the hammer housing 3 fixed.

The bracket 4 should be mounted so that it is with your other End extends under the hammer housing 3. It then bears on its underside a tangential handle 6 and a radial handle 7. The tangential handle 6 has a first grip portion 8 and a perpendicular thereto and with the first grip section 8 integrally connected second grip section 9. For better understanding, the respective handle sections 8, 9 Handle axes drawn as dash-dotted lines in Fig. 2. The free End 10 of the handle section 9 is widened in a spade shape to the operator to allow a secure grip of the tangential handle 6 and an accidental To avoid slipping off the second handle portion 9. From the the same reason is the end 11 of the first handle section 8 on the hammer side also broadened. The widening at the hammer end 11 ensures also protect the operator from being burned on the mostly made of metal hammer housing. The hand of the Protected the operator from electric shocks, which would otherwise result from Hammer housing 3 could skip if accidentally an electrical Pipe was drilled.

The tangential handle 6 is by a fixing wheel 12 serving as a locking element attached to the bracket 4. The fixing wheel 12 is - as also shown in Fig. 3 - Screwed into the holder 4 and clamps a flat area 13 of the Tangential handle 6 between itself and the bracket 4. After loosening the fixing wheel 12 is the tangential handle 6 around a pin 14 in the direction of 1 arrows pivotable, which pin 14 along a the tool axis 5 extends perpendicularly intersecting axis 15. Thereby Is it possible. the tangential handle 6 in the direction of not shown To pivot the tool, making the tool manageable is improved. Conversely, e.g. when working on difficult to access Set - the tangential handle 6 backwards, in the direction of the main handle 2 can be pivoted.

In the desired position, the fixing wheel 12 is tightened again, whereby Locking means 16 between the tangential handle 6 and the holder 4 in Get engaged and the tangential handle 6 and the bracket 4 form-fitting position with each other. This will make an unintended stepless Adjustment avoided if the fixing element 12 is not sufficiently tightened has been. As a locking means 16 z. B. notch-like depressions serve in the flat area 13 of the tangential handle 6 and in the holder 4.

Below the fixing wheel 12 is the radial handle 7 with a threaded pin 17th screwed. The handle axis represented by a dash-dotted line 15 of the radial handle 7 crosses the tool axis 5 perpendicularly. In cases where it is more convenient for ergonomic reasons to only use the hammer To hold the rear, main handle side part, the radial handle 7 from the Fixing wheel 12 unscrewed and instead into one on the hammer housing 3 provided thread 18 are screwed. The grip axis 15 of the radial handle 7 is no longer perpendicular to the tool axis 5 cross. In Fig. 2 this position of the radial handle 7 is shown in dashed lines.
