Description

The invention relates to a holding and guiding element for a glazing arrangement with at least two glass panes arranged parallel to one another and displaceable relative to one another, and a glazing arrangement executed using this holding and guiding element.

Balconies are now generally regarded as an element that enhances the value of a single-family dwelling or an apartment, and as a rule are therefore also realized in locations that generally allow the use of a balcony because of the noise and pollution levels. Of course they increase the construction costs. However, under Central European conditions, the potential for use over the course of a year is generally limited substantially by wind, precipitation or low temperatures.

Compared to the balcony, the loggia or conservatory has been preferred for years. These are glazed all around and can therefore be used even in adverse wind and rainfall conditions and - due to the heating effect of the sun - even at relatively low outdoor temperatures. In the summer months, however, the use is usually limited due to high internal temperatures, or it is costly shading and ventilation measures required (which nevertheless the use of hot Often can not allow days). In addition, if you stay in a loggia or a conservatory, the special experience of the fresh air is missing.

There are therefore proposed solutions for years to at least to a certain extent equip a balcony by a movable glazing when needed with the utility value advantages of a loggia or a loggia (by opening or removing glazing elements) largely approximate the nature of a balcony. These solutions range from individually usable and removable fixed-glazed elements, to the use of normal turn-only or tilt-and-turn windows in the balcony area, to glazing arrangements with displaceable elements. The former solutions are relatively inexpensive, but cumbersome and space consuming to handle, and the latter have until today an unsatisfactory use value / cost ratio.

For this purpose, US Pat. No. 5,829,204 describes a holding and guiding element for a glazing arrangement with at least two glass panes arranged parallel to one another and displaceable relative to one another and comprising a substantially U-shaped holding profile and a two-track running rail into which the holding profile can be inserted and held therein. As disadvantageous in local device has been found, however, that the support of the track in the U-shaped retaining profile requires an extremely complex attachment, which results in local device, as in the aforementioned glazing arrangements, an unfavorable utility value / cost ratio.

The invention is therefore based on the object, a holding and guiding element for a glazing arrangement with mutually parallel and relatively displaceable Specify glass, which is inexpensive and offers a high utility value.

This object is achieved by a holding and guiding element with the features of claim 1.

The core idea of the invention is to construct the holding and guiding element required for a glass pane consisting of several mutually parallel and relatively displaceable glass panes, namely a substantially U-shaped holding profile and a "multistage" insertable into it and lockable in it. track. While the retaining profile for all the glazing assemblies of the system in a preferred embodiment of the same is the same, the design of the track can vary in adaptation to the specific desired glazing arrangement, especially to the number of parallel to each other over a glazing area sliding glass panes. The division of functions between the holding profile and running rail is particularly advantageous if the uniform holding profile of a relatively stable and high-quality material - for example as aluminum profile - is made, while the different rails that are used in this stable base element, made of a cost plastic - For example, PVC - are manufactured.

In the preferred embodiment, the basic shape of the holding profile, which is generally to be characterized as a U-shape in the above-mentioned embodiment, is substantially rectangular in both the inside and the outside cross section. The base of the profile does not coincide with an edge of this rectangle, but extends to relatively flat, but nevertheless pronounced protrusions (mounting rails) parallel to an edge of the circumscribed rectangle.

The runner used in the preferred embodiment has a double comb shape with a base extending parallel to the base of the support member but at a considerable distance therefrom on high support rails. It is in the currently preferred embodiments three or four times, but can also be run with two or more than four runs. The variability here is set only by the (desirably the largest possible) opening range of the glazing assembly on one side and by the width of the profile on the other certain practical limits. In the currently preferred embodiment, the retaining profile is outside 60 mm wide and about 50 mm high and thus to accommodate four 6 or 8 mm or three 8 or 10 mm thick slices parallel to each other. Of course, the running track is smaller than the outer dimensions of the retaining profile by the appropriate profile thickness (in the presently preferred embodiment about 2 to 2.5 mm). The mounting rails of the mounting profile are approx. 6 mm high, while those of the mounting rail are approx. 20 mm high. Hereby remain for guiding the glass sheets in the area above the elevated base of the rail about 20 mm high Gleitführungsbereiche.

The support rails mentioned serve on the one hand as water collection channels, but the support rails of the track are dimensioned in the manner indicated here, because within a glazing arrangement with the proposed holding and guiding element and a so-called "glass lock" is to be realized, which allows removal of the glass , In this area, the track is separated from the surrounding areas and removable from the holding profile, and by a process of glass in these - measured according to the width of the glass - - area "fall" this on the basis of the freed from the track holding profile and thus reach in the upper edge portion out of engagement with the rail provided there, so that they can be finally taken out between the upper and lower retaining profile.

As an alternative to the above-mentioned possible use of several different rails, a single rail, namely the one with the maximum number of glass pane running areas, can also be used for all implementations of the system, and running areas for unused glass sheets are preferably covered by suitable cover strips.

In a special design with particularly good sliding behavior of the glass panes, sliding roller arrangements are provided in the running rail used, which in particular comprise a stainless steel axis with attached plastic casters. These are slightly above the glass surfaces facing the inner surfaces of the guide rail, so that the glass sheets do not run on these inner surfaces, but on the circumference of the rollers. The axis is in this case mounted below the legs connecting the legs of the track base in the legs.

A realized with the above-outlined holding and guiding element glazing assembly has at least a lower and an upper holding and guiding element. Preferably, two lateral holding and guiding elements of the same type are provided next to which the glass panes can engage laterally. In an alternative embodiment, however, the lateral boundary elements may differ in their design and material-side design of the upper and lower retaining profile.

The glass sheets have in a preferred embodiment so-called brush seals, with which they are held under a certain bias against each other, whereby a rattle is effectively suppressed. In addition, these brush seals can hold off laterally incident precipitation and wind relatively effective.

Especially for the realization of angled balcony glazings, in which the glazing surfaces collide at an angle deviating from 90 °, the lateral holding and guiding elements have angle matching elements for application to a metal or plastic tube which is arranged between the glazing areas. In particular, angles in the range between 80 ° and 180 ° between the glazing planes can be realized in a simple and elegant manner via this tube. The Winkelanpaßelemente have this in particular a formed for engagement between two supernatants at the base of the adjacent holding profile first broad side and a circle for application to the aforementioned pipe segmentally executed (in particular provided with at least one sealing strip) second broadside.

Fig. 1 shows a cross-sectional view of a holding profile 1 of an embodiment of the holding and guiding element according to the invention. The retaining profile 1 is an aluminum profile with 2.5 mm wall thickness in the basic form of a U-profile, the legs 2a, 2b on the completely flat base 2c down as projections 3a, 3b protrude slightly and thus form lateral mounting rails. Overall, the retaining profile 1 a rectangle with 50 mm width and 31.5 mm height inscribed. The clear width is 45 mm. The legs 2a, 2b have at their free end in each case a small fold 4a, 4b by 1 mm inwards. On the underside of the plane base 2c facing away from the interior, two flatter extensions 5a, 5b are provided, in addition to the extensions 3a, 3b to be designated as support rails, which do not extend to the edge of the rectangle circumscribing the profile and, inter alia, the bending and torsional rigidity of the profile.

9b aufweisen.FIG. 2 shows in cross-section a preferred embodiment of a running rail 6 which fits into the retaining profile 1 according to FIG. The running rail 6 has a "double comb shape" to be described basic shape of five mutually parallel, upright legs 7a to 7e and a right angles to these legs and connecting them together base 8. It is extruded in 2 mm wall thickness of PVC. The outer dimensions are determined so that the running rail 6 fits into the interior of the holding profile 1 of FIG. 1. The three inner legs 7b to 7d have at their end a T-shaped widening 9b to 9d, while the outer legs 7a and 7e in one of the height of the fold 4a and 4b (Fig. 1) of the holding profile 1 corresponding distance from its upper end a triangular in cross-section extension 9a and 9b have.

The base 8 has in the interstices between the legs 7a to 7e each have a slight elevation 8a, on which an inserted glass plate rests and can run between the flanks of the legs or their T-shaped extensions, and at the ends laterally beyond the outer legs 7a, 7b protruding extensions 8b, 8c. The lying below the base 8 part of the legs 7a to 7e has a slightly lower height than the upper part, and these sections can be understood in a sense as support rails of the running rail 6 in the support section 1.

In Fig. 3, the running rail 6 is inserted into the holding profile 1 shown in a cross-sectional view. It can be seen that the running rail 6 is fixed in the height direction in the retaining profile 1 by the triangular projections 9a, 9e of the legs 7a, 7e of the running rail 6 in cooperation with the inwardly directed bends 4a, 4b of the legs 2a, 2b of the holding profile , An additional lateral support is given by the extensions 8b, 8c of the base 8.

In Fig. 4 and 5 in a modified support profile 1 'used modified rails 6' (four-way) or 6 '' (three-legged) are shown in cross section.

Überstände 3a', 3b' sowie den Fortfall zusätzlicher Fortsätze an der Basis 2c'.The holding profile 1 'differs from the retaining profile 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 (apart from slightly changed dimensions) merely by a greater width of the mounting rails or protrusions 3a', 3b 'as compared to the legs 2a', 2b 'and the omission additional extensions on the base 2c '.

The rails 6 'and 6' 'differ from the track rail 6 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 - in addition to the likewise slightly different dimensions - first by a reduced width of the elevations 8a' on the legs 7a 'to 7e' connecting base. 8 '. This reduces the sliding friction of the glass panes resting there. This goal of better guidance of the side glass panes is also the provision of an L-shaped bevel 9f 'or 9g' on the legs 7a 'and 7e'. Furthermore, the width of the legs 7a 'to 7e' is stepped slightly in the longitudinal direction, as can be clearly seen in the cross-sectional view. Finally, at the holding profile base 2c 'facing the end of each leg - as well as at the other end, but with a smaller width - a T-shaped widening 9h' to 9l 'provided. These ensure a safer support of the legs on the holding profile base.

In the arrangement shown in Fig. 5, most of the components and portions of the arrangement of Fig. 4 correspond (unless the reference numerals have been omitted for the sake of clarity) the same reference numerals as there and are not further explained below. The only significant difference is in the greater length of the L-shaped extensions 9f '', 9g '' on the free upper side of the side legs of the track rail 6 '' and the L-shaped extensions 9h '', 9l '' on the base the retaining profile facing the end of the legs.

Die Wandungsstärke des Al-Profils beträgt ca. 2,5 mm und diejenige der PVC-Laufschiene ca. 4 bis 5 mm.The arrangements shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 have retaining profile outer dimensions of 60 × 50 mm and are suitable for receiving 4 glass panes of approximately 6 or 8 mm thickness (FIG. 4) or 3 glass panes approximately 8 or 10 mm thick (FIG 5). The wall thickness of the Al profile is approx. 2.5 mm and that of the PVC runner approx. 4 to 5 mm.

In Fig. 6 is a comparison with FIG. 4 modified arrangement with a four-bar guide rail 6 '' 'in a holding profile 1' shown. Since the arrangement substantially corresponds to the above-described arrangement of Fig. 4, most reference numerals have been omitted, and reference is made to the above description.

The only difference is the provision of each of a sliding roller 13 in each space between the legs 7a '' to 7e '' for storage depending on a glass used there 14. All rollers 13 are made of plastic and are on a common, continuous stainless steel shaft or Axis 15 mounted, which in turn is mounted in bores 16 of the legs of the running rail 6 '' '. A displacement of the glass sheets 14 takes place in this arrangement on the rotating about the stainless steel shaft 15 rollers 13 and thus particularly low friction.

In Fig. 7a to 7c is shown how a corner joint of a block frame 10 is formed of four rectangular abutting holding and guiding elements according to the above-outlined embodiment. Two retaining profiles 1.1, 1.2 butt against each other and are screwed together in the corner area via a screwed onto the base 2c connecting bracket 11 in silicone sealant angle. To make room for the angle 11, the lower ends of the legs 7a to 7e of the rails 6.1, 6.2 are shortened in the region of the angle 11 by a slightly larger amount than its thickness.

In a running rail 6.2 also the lower ends (mounting rails) of the legs - as best seen in Fig. 4b - are cut at an angle of 45 ° obliquely. This serves to allow removal of the running rail 6.2 from the support profile 1.2, provided that they are so-called "Glass lock" is used to remove the balcony glazing panes. As mentioned above, such a removal of the glazing is possible in that the rail insert is separated in one of the width of the glass panes in approximately corresponding region of a lower frame part of the frame 10 from the rest of the track in this lower frame part and can be removed. This is in spite of the barb function of the triangular in cross-section extensions ("Klippse") 9a, 9b (Fig. 2 and 3) possible, since the running rail has a certain elasticity and by suitable gripping and compressing the inner leg of the track and Swinging out of the running rail from the holding profile, the extensions 9a, 9b out of engagement with the Abkantungsbereichen 4a, 4b of the holding profile 1 can be brought. In this context, the chamfering sketched in FIG. 4b makes it possible in a sense to swing out the running rail 6.2 from the lower holding profile 1.2. If subsequently the glass panes are pushed into the region in which the running rail is removed, they then come to lie on the base 2c of the holding profile and thereby become disengaged from the upper holding profile of the frame 10 (FIG. 4a) at their upper edge and can to be taken out of the frame to the front.

The elasticity of the rails also makes it possible to prefabricate the frame 10, matching the balcony dimensions, as a block frame by screwing the items by means of (sealed in silicone) angle in the factory and then insert the rails from the free side of the holding profile forth ("clipped" ). The insertion of the glazing is done in reverse order as the above-mentioned removal via the glass lock. When the glazing is placed on the already pre-inserted part of the lower running rail of the frame, finally, the running rail section of the glass lock can be used.

Fig. 8 shows that with the proposed solution also corner joints between glazing front sections and side sections can be made. Two holding profiles 1.3, 1.4 are juxtaposed at right angles to each other, wherein the type of attachment shown in Fig. 5 requires that the holding down profile 1.4 of the downwardly facing extension 5a (Fig. 1) is removed. On the back of the support profile 1.3 an aluminum cover strip 12 is attached to improve the aesthetic impression. The above-explained embodiment of the holding profiles and rails, in particular the determination of suitable wall thicknesses and heights of the support rails or extensions at the base of the holding profiles makes it possible that their corner joint is sufficiently stable mechanically and nevertheless a free shrinkage of the glass sheets (not shown) of the glazing in both lateral holding and guiding elements 1.3 / 6.3 or 1.4 / 6.4 is possible. The stability of the corner joint is secured by a screw connection between the base of the first retaining profile 1.4 and the leg of the second retaining profile 1.3 adjacent thereto.

Die Anordnung der Elemente relativ zueinander ist ohne weiteres aus den Figuren ablesbar, so daß eine genauere Beschreibung hierzu nicht erforderlich ist.9 and 10 each show other (right-angled) corner solutions with holding profile / slide arrangements 1 '/ 6' (see Fig. 4) and a corner support 17 made of a square hollow profile whose edge length is equal to the width of the holding profile 1 '. is. In the embodiment of Fig. 9, two glazing elements have abutted the corner support at a right angle, and in the embodiment of Fig. 10, the corner support 17 serves to mechanically stabilize a glazing element. The arrangement also includes here a rectangular profile 18 with the width of the holding section 1 'adapted width. The arrangement of the elements relative to each other is readily apparent from the figures, so that a more detailed description of this is not required.

From this it differs by the provision of a below the base 2 '' of a holding profile 1 'inserted and serving to support a leg of the "U" of the other holding profile PVC sheet 19th

Anstelle des Kunststoffrohres kann auch ein Metallrohr eingesetzt werden.FIG. 12 shows a variable connection arrangement with regard to the angle formed between two glazing elements. Their central element is serving as a vertical support plastic tube 20 with a width of the holding profiles 1 'corresponding outer diameter. Furthermore, the connection arrangement comprises two Winkelanpaßelemente (adapter) 21 with a for insertion between the supernatants 3a ', 3b' on the base 2c 'of the holding profiles 1' adapted first broadside 22a and adapted to the plastic tube 20 second broadside 22b. At the former two inclined hook strips 23 are provided, via which the Winkelanpaßelement 21 is elastically locked under the base 2c 'of the associated holding profile 1'. The second broad side 22b has two inserted elastomeric sealing strips 24 which are pressed under elastic deformation of the plastic tube 20 and form a seal between this and the respective Winkelanpaßelement 21. Instead of the plastic tube and a metal tube can be used.

As can be seen from the figure, can be adjusted by pivoting the lateral holding and guiding elements 1 '/ 6' with each eingeschnappten Winkelanpaßelement 21 around the center of the tube 20 between the glazing elements any angle in the range between 80 ° and 180 ° become.

Claims (13)

  1. Support and guide element for a glazing arrangement having at least two sheets of glass arranged parallel to one another and displaceable relative to one another, which element has a substantially U-shaped support profile (1; 1.1; 1.2; 1.3; 1.4; 1') and an at least two-track running rail (6; 6.1; 6.2; 6.3; 6.4; 6'; 6"; 6"') that is insertable into the support profile and is held substantially immobile in the cross-sectional plane,
    characterised in that
the limbs (2a; 2b; 2a', 2b') of the support profile have, at their free ends, a bevel (4a, 4b) directed to the inside of the profile, and the running rail is held substantially immobile in the cross-sectional plane by the bevels.
  2. Support and guide element according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
the support profile (1; 1.1; 1.2; 1.3; 1.4; 1') is produced from aluminium or an aluminium alloy and the running rails (6; 6.1; 6.2; 6.3; 6.4; 6'; 6"; 6"') are produced from plastics material, especially PVC.
  3. Support and guide element according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
the external and internal cross-section of the support profile (1; 1.1; 1.2; 1.3; 1.4; 1') are substantially rectangular, the limbs of the "U" having especially a projection beyond the base thereof.
  4. Support and guide element according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
an n-track running rail, especially a three- or four-track running rail (6; 6.1; 6.2; 6.3; 6.4; 6'; 6"; 6"') has (n+1) parallel limbs (7a to 7e; 7a' to 7e'; 7a" to 7e") which, in a central region of the longitudinal run thereof, are joined to one another by a base (8) running perpendicular to the plane of run of the limbs, the interspace between each two limbs being provided to receive a sheet of glass.
  5. Support and guide element according to claim 4,
    characterised in that
the limbs (7a to 7e) of the running rail (6) each have, at their free ends, bevels (9a to 9d; 9f to 91'; 9f" to 91") pointing into the interspaces provided for receiving the sheets of glass and, in the central region of each interspace, the base (8; 8'; 8") joining the limbs has a raised portion (8a; 8a'), by means of which the sheets of glass are guided in longitudinal displacement with low friction.
  6. Support and guide element according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised by
a low-friction roller arrangement (13, 15) inserted into the running rail (6"'), which arrangement comprises especially a high-grade-steel shaft (15) with plastics low-friction rollers (13) mounted thereon.
  7. Glazing arrangement, especially balcony or conservatory glazing, that comprises at least one lower and upper support and guide element according to any one of the preceding claims and at least two sheets of glass (14) arranged parallel to one another and displaceable relative to one another in the support and guide elements.
  8. Glazing arrangement according to claim 7,
    characterised by
two lateral support and guide elements according to any one of the preceding claims, which are joined to the upper and lower guide elements to form a block frame (10), especially by screwing using an angled connecting piece (11).
  9. Glazing arrangement according to claim 7 or 8,
    characterised in that,
at their side edges, the sheets of glass have seals, especially brush seals, which make the glazing arrangement substantially wind-tight and rain-tight.
  10. Glazing arrangement according to any one of claims 7 to 9,
    characterised by
a glass gate for removing the sheets of glass (14) which is formed by a separate portion of the running rail of the lower support and guide element, that portion being removable from above and having the approximate width of a sheet of glass.
  11. Glazing arrangement according to any one of claims 8 to 10,
    characterised in that
at least one lateral support and guide element (1', 6') has an angle adapter element (21) for attachment to a tube (20) that is matched to the width of the support profile.
  12. Glazing arrangement according to claim 11,
    characterised in that
the angle adapter element (21) has a first broad face (22a), constructed for engagement between two projections (3a', 3b') at the base (2c') of the support profile (1', 6'), and a second broad face (22b), constructed as a segment of a circle for attachment to the tube and, especially, provided with at least one sealing strip (24).
  13. Glazing arrangement according to claim 11 or 12,
    characterised by
