Description

The present invention relates to a device for separating of flat shipments according to the preamble of the claim 1.

Devices of this type are used in particular in post offices and Mail distribution centers for sorting mail items such as letters, Magazines or the like. Used. The funding has subjects on, which have partitions, which the stacks to the conveyor belt transport. The stacks are usually made by Hand inserted in the compartments. The stacks can be very different Have shipments, such as low and narrow letters and thick, heavy magazines that also come with can be packed in a plastic film. A problem with these devices are double deduction errors. Here will in addition to the front shipment. deducted another shipment. A double deduction is due in particular to liability between two shipments or caused by entraining forces. Devices of this type are described, for example, in EP-A 0 854 103 and the documents listed below.

In document FR 2 692 874 A1 (BERLIN & CIE, FR) there is a device for separating stacked thin objects such as Letters revealed, in which before the deduction of each in objects that are essentially vertically present by means of a driven roller for separating vertically on a support be lifted and then transported on. On the support are a few at the same time Objects.

According to the in JP 61254428 Patent Abstracts of Japan (Toshiba Corp.) disclosed teaching is done by separating thin Objects such as Letters or magazines by rotation of eccentrically arranged cams.

Dabei ist auf der Stapelauflage eine Vielzahl von Öffnungen vorgesehen, die der Zirkulation der von oben zugeführten Luft dient.DE 1 203 801 (Telefunken Patentverwertungsellellschaft, Ulm) proposed the stack such a shipment before being transported horizontally by one "Closed air cycle", that means through air circulation to separate from top to bottom. It is on the stack pad a variety of openings are provided to allow circulation the air supplied from above.

In US 3,817,516 (Borroughgs Corporation, Detroit) is an apparatus for aligning and separating letters in which the substantially vertically arranged Letters over a sawtooth wedge for separation and Alignment be pushed before further transport takes place.

The solution shown in FR 2 692 874 A1 and US 3,817,516 common that between the separation and the further transport at the same time a few letters "stacked" and do not completely rule out double deduction errors.

The invention has for its object a device of the type mentioned, which is characterized by fewer double deduction errors distinguished and which can still be produced inexpensively is.

This object is achieved by the specified in claim 1 Features resolved.

It has been shown that with the solution according to the invention separating a stack that has reached the withdrawal gap significantly supported. Entraining forces between the preceding and the subsequent broadcast are reduced and thus reducing the likelihood of a double deduction error. The shipments funded against the level of the conveyor belt are raised by the wedge until they are gripped by the trigger belt and pulled horizontally from the stack. The wedge causes vertical movement and mutual displacement of the consecutive programs.

According to a further development, the wedge points upwards Top of the ribs that extend in the withdrawal direction. The ribs prevent the shipments from sliding and provide support the vertical orientation of these programs. That I the ribs extend in the withdrawal direction, the withdrawal of the Shipments are not hindered.

A particularly effective fanning out is achieved if said area is vibrated substantially vertically becomes. The vibrations add additional to the shipments exercised short vertical movements, which loosening up of the stack. Fanning out and loosening of the stack can also be reinforced thereby be, if according to a training by at least an air opening for the consignments of compressed air is fed. There are preferably a plurality of air openings provided in the installation area. This can under air the broadcasts are fed, which the shipments through an air cushion separates from one another and thus entraining forces are essential reduced. The area mentioned and in particular a wedge as the air openings mentioned can also be comparatively inexpensive can be realized and are reliable.

Fig. 2
a section along the line II-II of Figure 1.

The device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has one Funding 5, which is essentially vertical Stack 2 in the direction of arrow 7 against a trigger device 14 promotes. The funding 5 is, for example endless band and has several compartments in a row, in which the stacks 2 are inserted, for example, by hand. Such funding 5 are known to the person skilled in the art.

The stack 2 each consist of several programs 10, the for example letters, magazines wrapped in foil and are like that. The programs 10 are in accordance with FIG. 2 with a lower horizontal edge 12 on a horizontal Footprint 6 supported. With a vertical front Edge 13 are the mail items 10 on a vertical stop surface 3 aligned. The stop surface 3 is, for example formed by a fixed plate 4.

The trigger device 14 has an endless flexible band 15 on, which is driven by a vertical drive roller 16 and at a distance from it in a likewise vertical role 17 is deflected. The band 15 has a plurality of suction openings 9 on, in the area of a suction device 18 air from the outside 8 sucked into the interior of the suction device 18 becomes. According to FIG. 2, the suction device 18 has a suction channel 19 on that with a vacuum source, not shown here connected is. Between a vertical take-off belt level 8 and the plate 4 is a trigger gap 11, which is vertical extends.

According to FIG. 2, a forwarding consignment 10a reaches the take-off belt level 8, it is sucked in by the belt 15 and through Friction and suction air in the direction of arrow 26 through the trigger gap 11 horizontally withdrawn from the stack 2 and for example a reading device not shown here, which controls the further route of the broadcast 10a. Subsequently the following consignment 10b is captured by the tape 15 and subtracted in the same way. Is a whole stack 2 occasionally, a subsequent one, not shown here, becomes Stack treated in the same way.

In the trigger direction in front of the trigger gap 11 is on the installation surface 6, a wedge 20 is arranged, according to FIG. 2 to the take-off belt level 8 is formed increasing. The against that Discharge belt 15 mail items 10 are promoted by this Wedge 20 lifted vertically one after the other and are thereby fanned out vertically. The consignments practice 10 as they rise a relative movement to each other. Through this relative mutual movement become entraining forces between neighboring ones Shipments 10a and 10b reduced.

Seen in the conveying direction 7, the wedge 20 is at least as follows wide as the trigger gap 11 and can be several at the same time Record programs 10. Support ribs 27 and grooves 28 the vertical alignment of the mail items 10. The in FIG. 2 drawn angle of inclination α is preferably essential less than 45 ° and is preferably in the range of 10 ° to 20 °. Seen in the withdrawal direction is in front of the ribs 27 an ascending ramp 22 which prevents broadcasts 10 experience a resistance in trigger direction 26 on wedge 20. The inclined top 21 of the wedge 20 can also be significant be shorter or longer than shown in Figure 1. You can in Figure 1, for example, from the stop surface 3 to the deflection roller 17 extend.

Die einströmende Luft unterstützt die Wirkung des Keils 20.Seen in the withdrawal direction 26 in front of the wedge 20 are in the footprint 6 several air holes 23 arranged through which Compressed air can be supplied against the stack 12 from below. The Compressed air is thus under air here and is of the in Figure 2 Footprint 6 directed upwards in the direction of the edges 13. The air penetrates between the programs 10 and forms between this an air cushion, which also entraining forces reduced when pulling off. The incoming air supports the effect of the wedge 20.

The wedge 20 can be designed differently. In the shown Execution is the inclined top 28 step-shaped increasing. An embodiment is also conceivable in which the Top 27 is formed for example by a curvature. The vertical fanning out of the mail items 10 is essential. As can be seen, the wedge 20 is arranged so that the shipments 10 seen in the pull-off direction at its front end, i.e. close to the leading edge 13, and, as mentioned, to be fanned out. Basically, the wedge 20 can also be arranged at a distance from the trigger gap 11.
