Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de rétablissement automatique d'appel perdu dans un système de communication mobile. Une liaison est perdue pour cause de défaillance de service, en cours d'appel entre un terminal mobile de premier abonné et un terminal de second abonné communiquant entre eux via une station de base d'une pluralité de stations de base reliée au terminal mobile et au moins un commutateur d'une pluralité de commutateurs de réseau mobile relié à la station de base, dans un système de communication mobile qui comprend les deux pluralités en question. Un commutateur du réseau mobile entre en contact avec le registre de localisation détenant l'information de localisation précédente du terminal mobile correspondant au moment où une des stations de base et un des commutateurs du réseau mobile relié à la station de base reçoivent un message de demande d'enregistrement de la part du terminal mobile après la défaillance de service. Le commutateur de réseau mobile détermine alors si l'information détenue indique un service en cours de progression et tente de retrouver le terminal mobile, afin de reprendre le service interrompu entre le terminal mobile du premier abonné et le terminal du second abonné, si ladite information indique un service en cours de progression.
