Description

The present invention relates to a contact device for electrical Switching devices, in particular contactors, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a contact device is known from the prior art. The Patent document 147 587 of the former GDR describes one double-break contact device for electrical switching devices. This Contact device ensures a no longer changeable Switching state of the contact device through the movable design of the Fixed contacts. Here, the fixed contact is a pivotable leg part formed which by means of a compression spring, which is on the housing of the Switching device supports, in the direction of moving switch contacts against one Limit stop is pressed.

The invention has for its object a contact device for To create switchgear that burns out more evenly Contact materials and on the other hand a clear due to their structure easier assembly of the individual parts guaranteed.

The contact device mentioned at the outset was used to solve this task by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1 further training. Due to the straight, linear direction of movement of the Fixed contacts is a constant contact erosion of the contact materials guaranteed. Furthermore, through a defined path limitation Fixed contacts in the direction of actuation of the magnet armature of the magnet drive the use of a burn-up indicator is feasible.

Further advantages and embodiments of the invention are in the Subclaims and included in the following description of the figures.

The single figure of the drawing shows the sectional view of a contactor with the contact device according to the invention in one possible embodiment.
The contact device shown comprises a movable contact piece in the form of a switching bridge 2 and a fixed contact piece 4. The contact bridge 2 is in particular rigidly connected to the driving magnet armature, while the fixed contacts 4 are linearly movable according to the invention, along an axis (axis is determined by the direction of movement of the Magnet armature formed) are stored inside the housing. The fixed contacts 4 are preferably designed as angle pieces, one angle leg being guided in linearly movable manner in guide receptacles of the housing and the other angle leg being angled from the first by preferably 90 ° and being provided with contact material on its side facing the movable contact piece. Preferably, this angle leg is acted upon on its other side by a spring element 6 in the direction of the movable contact pieces 2 with a spring force. For this purpose, in particular a compression spring is supported in an abutment of the housing against the movable fixed contact 4. The movable fixed contacts 4 are preferably connected to connectors 10 of the switching device via a flexible line connection 8 in the form of strands. For this purpose, the strands are usually welded to the fixed contacts 4. In another embodiment, it is conceivable to make the line connection 8 rigid and to conductively connect it to the fixed contact 4 by means of a non-positive connection, in that the line connection presses with a contact area under spring force onto a contact area of the fixed contact 4. The fixed contact 4 is then movably supported despite this frictional force.
