Claims (4)

  1. Sharpener unit
    having a pencil or core sharpener (1, 2) and
    having a casing (3), enclosing the latter, as a shaving collector, this casing (3) containing a base part (4) and a closure cover (5) fixed releasably thereon,
    at least in each case one of the casing parts (4, 5)
    having or leaving free a through-passage opening, which allows access to the sharpener (1, 2) for sharpening purposes, and/or
    being provided with shaped protrusions (12, 13) which project into the housing interior and are intended for fixing the sharpener with clamping or snap-in action,
    characterized in that the shaped protrusions (12, 13) are positioned and designed such that they optionally secure between them
    a small-format sharpener, by acting on the outer walls of the housing from the outside to the inside, or
    a large-format sharpener, by subjecting wall regions of its housing to expanding pressure from the inside to the outside.
  2. Sharpener unit according to Claim 1, characterized
    in that the shaped protrusions (12, 13) project from the base part (4) of the casing (3), the sharpener (1, 2) being positioned on said base part by way of its housing base side, which is directed away from the sharpening blade, and
    in that the side walls of the sharpener housing of the large-format sharpener are at least partially accessible for rear engagement by the shaped protrusions (12, 13).

Sharpener unit according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the shaped protrusions form a U-shaped clamping rib which optionally have the inner flanks of their U-legs engaging around the housing of the small-format sharpener in a pincer-like manner from the outside or have the outer flanks of their U-legs butting from the inside against side walls of the housing of the large-format sharpener which project freely beyond the housing base, the crossbar of the U-shape forming a positioning stop for the sharpener.
