Claims (7)

  1. Process for continuously mixing a dry or pourable mixture of construction materials such as flooring screed, particularly pourable screed, concrete, plaster, mortar or the like, with a mixing liquid, for example with water, in which the mixture of construction materials is measured in and the quantity of mixing liquid to be added is matched to the quantity of building mix measured in, characterised in that the wear of a metering device (3) serving for measuring the building mix and hence the reduction in the supply of building mix is determined as a function of the running time and/or the throughput and the supply of mixing liquid is reduced in proportion to this wear of the metering device and/or the speed of driving the metering device (3) is increased in proportion to this wear.
  2. Process according to claim 1, characterised in that in order to determine the increase in the wear on the metering device the latter is measured repeatedly after conveying given quantities and/or after given running times to determine its different states of wear and the amount conveyed in such a state of wear is determined, and the wear-induced reduction in the throughput conveyed by the metering device (3) which has thus been determined is input into an electronic control or computer unit (14) which regulates or controls the supply means for the mixing liquid, e.g. a valve or the like, in accordance with the reduced delivery.
  3. Process according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the increase in the wear of the metering device (3) determined, in particular, by testing with different products or building mixes is checked and/or measured from time to time, for example during maintenance work, and any deviations found are input in the control or computer unit (14).
  4. Process according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that a metering screw (4) is used as the metering device and its loss of circumference in the course of operation and/or the reduction in the building mix which it delivers are measured and input into the control or computing unit.
  5. Apparatus (1) for continuously mixing a dry or pourable building mix such as flooring screed, concrete, mortar, plaster or the like with a mixing liquid, for example water, with a feed device (2) for the building mix, a metering device (3) and a mixing chamber (6) downstream thereof, particularly a throughflow mixer with a supply means for the mixing water and a control for the supply means (11) for the mixing water for performing the process according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a regulatable valve or blocking member (13) is provided in the feed line (11) for the mixing water, said valve or blocking member (13) being connected to the control which comprises an electronic memory and/or a programmable memory unit for storing the quantity of building mix actually supplied to the mixing chamber, per unit of time or dependent on throughput, reduced by the wear, so that the quantity of mixing water supplied through the supply means (11) and the inlet (12) can be supplied in a controlled manner in accordance with the actual amount of building mix.
  6. Apparatus (1) for continuously mixing a dry or pourable building mix such as flooring screed, concrete, mortar, plaster or the like with a mixing liquid, for example water, with a feed device (2) for the building mix, a metering device (3) and a mixing chamber (6) downstream thereof, particularly a throughflow mixer with a supply means for the mixing water and a control for the supply means (11) for the mixing water for performing the process according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a control is provided for the speed of the drive motor (10) and this control comprises an electronic memory and/or a programmable computing unit for storing the quantity of building mix metered by means of the metering device (3) per unit of time or dependent on throughput, and reduced as a result of wear, so that the wear-induced reduction in the quantity of building mix metered in can be compensated by increasing the speed of the drive motor (10).
  7. Apparatus according to claim 5 or 6, characterised in that a control is provided for a regulatable valve or blocking member (13) and a control is provided for the speed of the drive motor (10) and an electronic memory and/or a programmable computing unit is provided for storing the reduction in the supply of building mix caused by wear, per unit of time or dependent on throughput, for increasing the speed of the drive motor (10) and in conjunction therewith reducing the supply of water.
