Description

    OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to an oil and/or vinegar container with sprayer, from among dispensers for these products, in a double vessel and provided with spray producing means.
  • This invention is characterised by a particular construction of the container with at least two top necks which incorporate at least one sprayer connected to an inner deposit, or two sprayers each connected to a vessel, with the shape of the internal deposit related to that of the external one when there are two necks, or when there are three, in which case the latter acts as a handle.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Containers for common food products and cooking additives are well known, as well as a number of geometrical shapes, means and devices for dispensing them, in addition to the manner in which two or more may be combined in a single vessel, requiring no further explanation.
  • The applicant is unaware of the existence of any containers of this type which are provided with sprayers in order to obtain the final touch of taste to food. A dual bottle container for serving wine and other beverages is disclosed in the US 2362223 patent, which has two bottles, the one placed inside the other in order to receive ice or other refrigerant for cooling the contents of the outer bottle.
The preamble of claim 1 is based on this closest prior art.
  • Both the outer and the inner bottle have individual openings, closed with a stopper or a cork. Even though the use of such a dual bottle as an oil and/or vinegar container is not provided by its inventor, it is, nevertheless, obvious that it could also be used for such a purpose.
  • However, this dual bottle does not provide the possibility of exactly dosing and spreading of the contents.
  • This drawback is overcome by the oil and/or vinegar container having at least one sprayer on one outlet whereby dosing and spreading of the contents can be easily realized.
  • It is known a dual bottle container as the one disclosed in the US 5316159 patent, which has two bottles which are releasable interlocked together in side-by-side relation by a plateau on one of the bottles which engages a depression on the other bottle for transverse sliding movement. This dual bottle presents some drawbacks, such as the two bottles should have the same size and, so it implies that the quantity used of each product is quite similar, when is clearly different it useless to have a nearly empty bottle or a full bottle of a product which is clearly less used. Now we pretend to overcome such drawbacks trying to find a solution with a container which has another within, so it is clearly more easily transportable and the shape of each container is adapted to the proportion of the product to be needed.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention which is the object of this memory relates to a container, for either oil or vinegar, or in addition provided with both products simultaneously and separately, with the container provided with at least one sprayer.
  • This invention is grouped among dispensing means for food products and additives, placed in a double concentric container and in any arrangement, as well as provided with independent nozzles for individual intake and outlet of each product.
  • The invention is characterised by a particular construction of the container, which may adopt any outer shape, although it is preferably in the form of a bottle with three upper necks, so that the central one acts as a handle and the other two as spouts, or also in the shape of an Erlenmeyer beaker with an upper elongated truncated cone neck which further incorporates a short lateral neck with a threaded inner surface angled upwards.
  • The nozzles of those necks which do not act as handles include at least one sprayer connected to an internal deposit, with the shape of the internal deposit preferably coinciding with that of the external one. Thus, one of the preferred embodiment examples shows a bottle-shaped deposit which incorporates a vessel shaped as a bunch of grapes, which shape is repeated in the handle neck, or in the other example a container in the shape of an Erlenmeyer beaker with a curved end connected to the outer nozzle which again imitates the shape of the external vessel.
  • The insertion end of the sprayer is shaped as a plug which fits in the opening of the neck, or is provided with a threading complementary of that in the threaded opening of the neck, in both cases having an intermediate segment with an internal recess which facilitates the elastic restoration of the sprayer control knob.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • Further characteristics of the invention will become apparent in view of the attached drawings where, for purposes of illustration only and in no way meant as a definition of the limits of the invention the following is shown:
  • Figure 1 is an example of a bottle with three necks, one central top one with a handle shaped as the vessel beneath and two oblique lateral ones slightly lower, with their respective sprayers, in this case by means of a pressure plug, connected to their respective vessels.
  • Figure 2 shows an elevation view of the container of the preferred example for oil and vinegar, as an Erlenmeyer beaker with a lateral sprayer, which shape is repeated in the internal container which is connected to the threaded spray outlet nozzle.
  • PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the above, the present invention relates to a container for oil and/or vinegar with a sprayer, from among those vessels holding both products without mixing them in order to dispense them, in a double vessel which may be concentric or not, as well as those provided with independent nozzles for individualised intake and outlet of each product, characterised in that it is arranged as a double vessel, concentric or not, with any shape for the internal deposit (1), as well as with this shape repeated for the external container (2) or at least in the central neck (3) of said external container, with deposit (1) provided with at least one oblique neck (4) connected to outer neck (5) or to one of outer necks (5) with a end with a threading (6) or without it, as well as provided with a sprayer (7) which may have a threading (8) or not, with an intermediate segment as a recess (9) for retraction of the sprayer control knob (10).
  • Alternatively, a further symmetrical oblique neck (5) is provided with an identical sprayer (7) which reaches the bottom of the vessel (2) and together with it is provided with an inverted truncated-cone shaped central lip (3.1) instead of central neck (3) of this vessel (2), which is fitted with a complementary plug (11) with an orifice (12) and an extension (13) with an oblique bent free end (14) for pouring the product contained in (2) and provided with a recessing (15) of its generatrices, defining a return duct (16) for air during pouring.
  • The essence of this invention is not altered by variations in materials, shape, size, or arrangement of its component elements which are described in a non-limiting manner so that an expert in the field would be capable of reproducing it.

Claims (3)

  1. Oil and/or vinegar double container comprising an internal container placed inside an external container, each container having an individual opening for individual intake and outlet for each product, characterised in that at least the internal container is provided with a sprayer.
