Abstract

The invention concerns hollow and sealed volumes made of plastic, wood, metal, concrete, foam or consisting in an inflatable flexible envelope, capable of being filled with liquid, solid, expanded material or air, comprising a modular planar base on which is mounted a projecting volume, with rounded edges, capable of representing any shape and enabling by juxtaposition or nesting of their bases an infinite number of circuits for leisure and educational purposes.

Description

The invention relates to an educational game on a human scale. constituted by a set of representative hollow volumes, either geometric shapes or shapes representing the fauna, flora, objects and characters that can assemble by juxtaposition or nesting between them, according to any composition.

FIG. 1 :
FIG. 2 :
FIG. 3 :
FIG. 4 :
Exemple d'embase portant des inscriptions.
The invention will be better understood on reading the detailed description below, made with reference to the drawings presented in the appendix, which represent:
FIG. 1:
Hollow volume, composed of a flat rectangular parallelepiped base, surmounted by a projecting volume (cone) with a filling opening (double round at the top of the cone) and 4 holes at the corners of the base to allow it to be fixed.
FIG. 2:
Set of hollow volumes with geometric figures, seen from above, which can allow all games (course, jumps and educational information (drawings - engravings).
FIG. 3:
Detail of the connection area of the base and the surface volume: bridging stiffener (9).
FIG. 4:
Example of a base bearing inscriptions.

Each hollow volume is made up of:
  • A flat base (1) surmounted by a projecting shape (3), the whole being sealed and comprising one or more filling openings (5) (cf. FIG 1).
  • The tight hollow volume can be filled:
    • either with liquid (water, salt water ...) in order to make it heavier, more stable, more solid on its base, and to be able to immerse it for all or part possibly.
    • either with solid (sand, granules, gravel, cement ...) for the same reasons as above.
    • either with foams (plastic type polyurethane with closed cell or other ...) to strengthen it.
  • The material used for the volume envelope may be either a solid plastic material, such as, for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, PVC or the like, treated against the ultra violet rays of the sun, of "food grade"", resistant to temperatures ranging from -30 ° to + 70 ° celsius, colored in its mass and recyclable, either wood, metal, concrete, an expanded material (foam ...) or a flexible envelope (fabrics, plastic film) inflatable.
  • Preferably, the volumes do not have a sharp edge or edges, the edges and the ends of the volume will, for example, be rounded in order not to injure the users.

To maintain the shape of the volume in its state despite the pressure of liquids, solids or interior foaming, numerous stiffening bridges (9) (see FIG 3), in particular at the contiguous periphery of the base and the protruding volume , could be provided, these bridging (9) being particularly useful when the hollow volumes are obtained by rotational molding.
  • Likewise, the bases of the hollow volume could be, for example, triangular prisms, square, rectangular parallelepipeds, regular or irregular polygons, circles or curved shapes, of the same dimension, in order to allow any combination by simple juxtaposition between them, or nesting like a puzzle.
  • Furthermore, the base may include, on its periphery, holes (see FIG 1) allowing any fixing to maintain the volume in any position using nails, screws, bolts, hooks, rivets, cordage, cable etc. .. (see FIG 1).
  • In addition, the protruding volumes, above the bases, may represent:
    • either geometrical volumes such as, for example: cube, cone, truncated cone, tetrahedron, tetrahedron trunk, regular or irregular polyhedra (pentahedron, sixtahedron, heptahedron, octahedron, nonahedron, dodecahedron, isocahedron etc ...), cylinder , ovoid, ellipsoid, sphere, torus, spiral, staircase, spiral, star etc ...
    • either figures of the fauna such as, for example: dog, cat, bear, cow, pig, rooster, hen, rabbit, duck, goose, swan, tiger, lion, tortoise, hippopotamus, horse, donkey, sheep, antelope, deer, zebra, butterfly, dinosaur, porpoise, dolphin, penguin, penguin, seal, elephant, rhino, owl, eagle, fox, crocodile, panda, fish, camel, dromedary, bird, parrot, pelican, crab, lobster, lobster, whale, seagull, shark, gorilla etc ...
    • either flora figures such as, for example: apple, pear, peach, apricot, avocado, plum, strawberry, cherry, grape, orange, banana, kiwi, redcurrant, pineapple, grapefruit, artichoke, cauliflower, lettuce, carrot, potato, bean, pea, wheat, corn, sunflower, rosé, tulip, daisy, water lily, poppy, lemon, pumpkin, melon, etc ...
    • or objects such as, for example: car, train, plane, truck, fire engine, military vehicle, construction machine, boat, tram, metro, motorcycle, bicycle, tricycle, house, monuments, bridges, factories, etc. .
    • either costumed or typical characters such as, for example: circus people, people representing folklore, sportspeople, trades people or other ...
  • as for the engravings (drawings) and inscriptions on the volumes in the plastic mass, they are informative-educational indicating for example:
    • for geometric volumes, such as the cone for example, mathematical formulas allowing, with the appropriate drawings, to find the volume and the surface of said cone (see Fig 4).
    • for the volumes showing fauna, the inscriptions indicating the weights, size, lifespan, reproduction, customs, mode of feeding, place of life etc ... of the animals.
    • for the volumes showing the flora, the inscriptions indicating the main characteristics of the plants, vegetables and fruits represented.
    • for the volumes containing the objects, the inscriptions describing, for example, the said object as well as the significant dates of the other related facts.
    • for the volumes appearing of the characters, the inscriptions, for example, relating to each type of character and to what represents his life, his customs, his actions, his costume etc ...
  • Finally, the protruding volumes, due to the juxtaposition and or the nesting, such as for example a puzzle of their bases according to any composition (cf. FIG 2) and by their shapes, can be, for example, spanned, overlapped, climbed , jumped, serve as caches or serve for slides etc ... to children and thereby constitute an infinity of fun routes, on the one hand, and educational on the other hand by their engravings and instructive drawings.
  • For example, the base can measure about 1 m on a side and, in the case of a cone, the protruding volume can have a base diameter of about 80 cm and 1.20 m in height.
