Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Munitionsmagazin (2) für gurtlos geführte Munition mit wenigstens einer endlos geführten Munitions-Führungskette (6) zum Fördern der Munition im Munitionsmagazin (2) und einem Kettenspannmittel (72) zum Spannen der Munitions-Führungskette (6) mit einer vorgegebenen Kettenspannung, welches zum Erhöhen der Kettenspannung eine Spannbewegung in Spannrichtung und zum Erniedrigen der Kettenspannung eine Spannbewegung entgegen der Spannrichtung durchführt. Um zu verhindern, daß beispielsweise beim Beschleunigen der Munitions-Führungskette (6) eine Lose entsteht, weist das Kettenspannmittel (72) ein Mittel (78) auf zum Beeinflussen der Federkonstanten des Kettenspannmittels (72) abhängig von der Spannrichtung und der Geschwindigkeit der Spannbewegung.
