Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von Metallpulver aus dergleichen Schmelzen.The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for producing Metal powder from the same melts.

Um einen hohen Anteil an Pulverteilchen mit geringem Komdurchmesser und eine hohe Schüttdichte des Metallpulvers zu erstellen, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß der aus dem Schmelzendüsenkörper (D) im wesentlichen vertikal austretende Schmelzenstrom (S) durch mindestens drei Gasstrahlen (1,2,3) mit jeweils verschiedenen Richtungen beaufschlagt wird, wobei die Gasstrahlen in der Wirkfolge jeweils auf den eingebrachten Schmelzenstrom S auf den durch den jeweils vorgeordneten Gasstrahl in der Richtung eingestellten und geformten Schmelzenstrom (FS) mit einem Winkel zwischen 5° und 170° ausgerichtet sind.
