Abstract

A feed line (10) for supplying a suspension in the distribution system (20) of the stock flow (30) of a paper machine is provided with a supsension equalizer (40) arranged upstream from the distribution system (20) and connected thereto by means of a straight feed piece. The suspension equalizer acts as a turbulence generator, whereby it sets the suspension into a state of turbulence with such force that the suspension is homogenized and the acceleration profile of the suspension is equalled out inside the cross-section of the feed line. This also enables optimum stock flow conditions to be created directly prior to the stock flow or even with relatively long feed lines running through windings or curves in order to meet the quality requirements for paper production. In one preferred embodiment, the turbulence generator consists of a tube section that is similar in shape to a venturi tube with an abruptly reduced cross section (42), followed by a gradual expansion of said cross section (45).

Description

Technisches GebietTechnical field

The invention relates to a paper machine with a headbox and a non-linear extending supply line (10) for supplying a suspension to the distribution system (20) the souffle casserole according to the preamble of claim 1.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

A stock suspension is fed to the headbox of a paper machine in several steps. First, the various ingredients in the suspension such as water, pulp, gypsum, etc. mixed and homogenized in a mixing pump. The suspension is passed through a feed line, generally a pipeline Distribution system fed. This distribution system is often in the form of a circular distributor executed. The distribution system has the task of arriving through the supply line Spread the suspension over the entire width of the headbox. So that Papermaking process can work optimally, it is necessary that the Suspension has the same composition over the entire width of the headbox. If a circular distributor is used as the distribution system, it follows that the through the incoming incoming suspension homogeneously over the entire cross section of the Supply line must be. In addition, the speed profile must be above the whole cross section of the supply line should be as constant as possible. This requirement exists also for other distribution systems. As long as the supply line between the mixing pump and Distribution system is currently running, ensures the fulfillment of the above Neither is a problem because the suspension makes the mixing pump homogeneous and leaves with a uniform speed profile. However, this changes if the supply line is no longer straight, or in other words if the pipe, which generally forms the feed line, has a bend. This is usually the case in practice, however, because the structural conditions are straight Prevent routing of the supply line between the mixing pump and distribution systems. To A manifold is both the density of the suspension and its speed in the flow direction no longer constant over the cross-section of the feed line (see figures 4A and B). To the suspension before entering the distribution system too Rehomogenize and smooth the speed profile so far various constructive measures were used. For one, you can see the route make it relatively long between the last manifold and the distribution system so that giving the suspension enough time to regain its balance. With This measure can be a relatively good smoothing of the Speed profile, but the inhomogeneity of the suspension remains largely preserved. In addition, one can after the manifold or use several counter elbows, which should cancel each other out. However, this is constructively very complex and leads to success only to a limited extent.

Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a constructive measure with which a suspension homogenized in a feed line before Distribution system is rehomogenized and their speed profile is leveled.

This object is achieved by a device with the features of claim 1 solved.

The basic idea of the invention is between the last manifold and the Distribution system to install a turbulence generator in the supply line. This Turbulence generator sets the suspension so turbulent that all patterns, which were previously impressed on the current are deleted. This suspension "forgets" her prehistory as it were. Because of this effect, such Turbulence generators are called suspension equalizers.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, this turbulence generator in Formed a type of Venturi nozzle, which has the particular advantage that it has no moving parts and is very simple.

The basic problem that has to be solved is sketched in FIG. 2A. The stock suspension is from a mixing pump 5 through a feed line 10, which in generally formed by a pipeline, pumped to the distribution system 20. in the in general, however, this feed line 10 does not run straight, but rather as in FIG. 3 shown it has one or more bends. After the last manifold 15 the suspension has a density and speed distribution as in the Figures 4A and 4B are shown. There is a cut through the middle of the pipe in the X direction viewed along the axis V-V. Since, as shown above, it is undesirable that the suspension with such a density or speed distribution in the Distribution system 20 flows in, is after the last manifold 15 Turbulence generator 40 installed (see Figures 2B and 3). This turbulence generator 40 causes a homogenization of the suspension (see Figure 4C), as well as a Leveling the speed profile (see Figure 4D). Figures 4C and 4D show the conditions as they exist at the outlet of the turbulence generator 40 in the Supply line 10 prevail along the axis N-N.

A preferred embodiment of the turbulence generator 40 follows shown. The turbulence generator 40 is designed here in the form of a Venturi nozzle. The suspension first encounters a step-like cross-sectional constriction 42. This causes the suspension to become very turbulent, causing an abrupt Change in the speed and pressure conditions within the liquid is effected, what a good mixing and thus a homogenization Consequence. The liquid then runs through a short section constant cross section 48, followed by a gradual one Cross-sectional expansion 45, whereby the speed profile is directed. On such cross-sectional profile can be installed in a pipe section. It can be as separate component can be executed, which in a conventional tube is definable. The profile is preferably symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal axis of such a pipe section. The fact that the suspension with an entiang des Pipe cross section irregular speed profile on the Cross-sectional constriction 42 hits, it is also set in rotation. This also bears to good mixing and homogenization.

In principle, turbulence generators without moving parts are preferable because they work maintenance-free. However, it is also conceivable for this purpose To construct turbulence generators which operate on a different principle than that of the abrupt cross-sectional expansion or cross-section work. This one The examples shown only represent particularly simple and elegant solutions of the problem, namely the homogenization and flattening of the Speed profile.
