Claims (23)

  1. A set of members (1) serving to form a lightweight piece of furniture (3) for presenting at least one visual (2), under tension substantially in the elevation direction, the set (1) comprising the following in combination:
    bottom fastening means (14) and top fastening means (13), between which the visual (2) is to be held;
    a base-piece (5) including abutment means (35) serving to stand on the floor and bottom connection means (34) for connecting to the bottom fastening means (14), as well as fixing means (38) disposed on the other side of the abutment means (35) in the elevation direction (E) and suitable for receiving at least a bottom end (40) of a flexible structure element (6) of a structure extending in elevation or "elevation structure" (41);
    at least one flexible structure element (6), e.g. three elements (6) serving to be mounted end-to-end to form an elevation structure (41) having a bottom end (40) and a top end (42), the top end (42) serving to be connected via top connection means (7) to the top fastening means (13), while the bottom end (40) serves to be secured rigidly to the fixing means (38) of the base-piece (5);
    said set of members being characterized in that:
    the base-piece (5) has a substantially elongate shape in a lateral direction (L) in the piece of furniture (3), it includes said fixing means (38) and an abutment zone (58) that is at a point or that is linear and that is close to its back end, and it includes said bottom connection means (34) in the vicinity of its front other end, and thus at a significant distance in said lateral direction from said abutment zone (58); and
    the bottom fastening means (14) are provided with at least two abutment means (29) belonging to them, serving to stand on the floor, and spaced apart at a distance from each other in a transverse direction (T) in the piece of furniture (3) as assembled and that the set of members serves to form, so as to co-operate with said point or linear abutment zone (58) to form a wide abutment base for said piece of furniture as assembled.
  2. A set (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the abutment means (35) of the base-piece (5) and/or the abutment means (29) of the bottom fastening means (14) serve to be disposed as a trihedron or as a quadrilateral.
  3. A set (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the abutment means (29) of the bottom fastening means (14) comprise at least one piece (30) serving to be mounted by being engaged by force and/or by being clipped resiliently, and having a shape, in particular perpendicular to the transverse direction (T), that is polygonal and/or rounded, which piece (30) constitutes a wheel, for example.
  4. A set (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the bottom fastening means (14) and/or the top fastening means (13) comprise at least one bar-forming element (16) serving to be disposed transversely so as to co-operate with the visual (2) either via an intermediate securing element (15) or directly.
  5. A set (1) according to claim 4, characterized in that the bar-forming element (16) is, for example, a carbon fiber tube, e.g. of constant section.
  6. A set (1) according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the intermediate securing element (15) is open P shaped in lateral section, extends in the transverse direction (T), and is provided with first holding means (19) for holding the visual (2) and with second holding means (20) serving to receive the bar-forming element (16).
  7. A set (1) according to claim 6, characterized in that the first holding means (19) are secured to the visual (2) in particular by clamping, gluing, welding, or clipping, e.g. resilient clipping.
  8. A set (1) according to claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the first holding means (19) comprise a slot (24) extending transversely along that edge (22) of the securing element (15) which is situated opposite from the second holding means (20), which slot serves to secure to the visual (2), said slot (24) being provided with inwardly-projecting lips (25) projecting towards the inside of the slot (24) in the lateral direction (L) and extending in the transverse direction (T), the lips (24) facing each other.
  9. A set (1) according to any one of claims 3 to 8, characterized in that the bottom fastening means (14) are provided with two abutment means (29) disposed at respective transverse ends of the bar-forming element (16).
  10. A set (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the base-piece (5) has at least two elongate portions (32), e.g. substantially facing each other and in line abreast, and extending longitudinally on either side of fixing means (38) for fixing to a flexible structure (6), each elongate portion being provided with bottom connection means (34) for connecting to front and back bottom fastening means (14), the base-piece (5) standing on abutment means (29) belonging to the bottom fastening means (14), e.g. disposed as a quadrilateral.
  11. A set (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the bottom connection means (34) are in the form of a hook (59) that serves to co-operate with the bar-forming element (16) and that is concave in the elevation direction and facing towards the abutment means (35) of the base-piece (5).
  12. A set (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the fixing means (38) of the base-piece (5) comprise a plurality of recesses (39) having mutually different sections substantially perpendicular to the elevation direction (E), each recess (39) thus having a section substantially complementary to the section of a predetermined bottom end (40) of a chosen flexible structure element (6).
  13. A set (1) according to claim 12, characterized in that the recesses (39) are disposed substantially in line abreast in the lateral direction (L), and, for example, their sections substantially perpendicular to the elevation direction have areas that decrease going towards the bottom connection means (34).
  14. A set (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the flexible structure elements (6) serve to form an elevation structure (41) that is substantially linear.
  15. A set (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the elevation structure (41) is made up of a plurality of flexible structure elements (6), and of assembly means (43) for assembling together the flexible structure elements (6) one to another, so as to form at least one substantially frustoconical support rod, at least one of the flexible structure elements (6) being a tube (44), e.g. made of carbon fiber.
  16. A set (1) according to claim 15, characterized in that the bottom end (40) of the elevation structure (41) has a section of area larger than the section area of its top end (42).
  17. A set (1) according to any one of claims 14 to 16, characterized in that the assembly means (43) are constituted at a bottom end (40) of a length of tube (44) by a prong (45) projecting towards another length of tube (44a), and at the top end (42) of said other length of tube (44a) by a recess (46) suitable for receiving said prong (45), said prong (45) being cylindrical, for example.
  18. A set (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 17, characterized in that the top connection means (7) comprise first fixing means (51) for fixing to the top fastening means (13) and second fixing means (47) for fixing to the top end (42) of the elevation structure (41).
  19. A set (1) according to claim 18, characterized in that the first fixing means (51) of the connection means (7) comprise at least one notch such as a trough (52) and/or a stud extending in the transverse direction (T) and suitable for co-operating with the bar-forming element (16) or with a complementary concave portion (56) in a securing element (15) of the fastening means (13).
  20. A set (1) according to claim 18 or 19, characterized in that the second fixing means (47) of the connection means (7) comprise a recess (48) whose opening (49) faces towards the base-piece (5), which recess serves to receive the top end (42) of the elevation structure (41).
  21. A lightweight piece of furniture (3) for presenting a visual (2), and characterized in that it comprises in combination a visual (2) assembled to a set of members (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 20.
  22. A piece of furniture (3) according to claim 21, characterized in that the visual (2) is a poster and/or an information medium such as a flexible board having envelopes (60), e.g. made of a cellulose material such as paper and/or made of a synthetic material such as PVC, polyester, or the like, be it woven or non-woven.
  23. Packaging (54) comprising a container such as a cylindrical tube (55), e.g. made of cardboard, said packaging being characterized in that it contains a set of members (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 20 and/or a piece of furniture (3) as assembled according to claim 21 or 22.
