Hinge, in particular for the door of a household apparatus, with two linkages (3,4) which, when projected on a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis of the hinge, are each jointed at one location through a first joint (7, 8) on at least one resting support plate (1), and at another location through a second joint (9, 10) on at least one pivoting plate (2) which pivots together with the door, in a way which makes that said pivoting plate (2) revolves around a mobile instantaneous rotation center (Z, Z') located at the intersection of the longitudinal axis' of both linkages, where at least one linkage comprises at least a pair of levers (3, 3a; 4, 4a) arranged on both sides of a support plate and of a pivoting plate, characterised by two stops (P, Q) which act between the two plates or between pieces fixed to these when the door is fully open, each stop (P, Q) being then located between the middle planes, perpendicular to the rotation axis, of a pair of levers (3, 3a; 4, 4a).
    2. Hinge according to claim 1, characterised in that the levers of a pair of levers are shaped in a way which avoids, when the door is fully open, a lateral offset between the parts of the plates next to the stop (P).
    3. Hinge according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the plates are aligned in he vicinity of at least one pair of levers (3, 3a; 4, 4a), and that the support plate (1) comprises a recess (A) which extends beyond a straight line joining the two first joints (7, 8) in order to create room for a joint axis belonging to a second joint (9) when the door opens.
    4. Hinge according to any preceding claim, characterised in that the ratio of the longest side (7-10) of the four-bar linkage formed by the joints to its shortest side (8-9) when the door is fully open is larger than three (Fig. 3).
    5. Hinge according to any preceding claim, characterised in that the angle (P, Z', Q) under which the two stops (P, Q) appear when viewed from the instantaneous center of rotation (Z') when the door is fully open exceeds 140° (Fig. 3).
    6. Hinge according to any preceding claim, characterised by a traction bar (11) hinged on the pivoting plate and by a swivelling lever (14) placed on one side of the support plate and the pivot of which is carried by it, where the bar is connected through the swivelling lever with a compensating spring (16) so that it will exert a pressure on said spring when the door is opened by more than a certain amount.
    7. Hinge according to claim 6, characterised in that the support plate (1) is cranked twice near the first joint (R, S), thereby exiting from its main plane in such a way that the middle plane, perpendicular to the axis of rotation, of the swivelling lever (14) and/or of the traction bar (11) lies between two planes parallel to said bar and in contact with the external sides of a pair of lever (3, 3a; 4, 4a).
    8. Hinge according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that it comprises an adjusting device (15) visible and operable from the door side of the apparatus.
    9. Hinge according to one of claims 6 to 8, characterised in that a mechanism (17) which carries the spring (16) abuts a location M of the support plate (1).
    10. Hinge according to one of claims 6 to 9, characterised in that the line of sight under which the instantaneous center of rotation (Z) of the hinge appears when viewed from the joint (F) which links the traction bar (11) to the swivelling lever (14) when the door is closed lies within 10° on either side of the longitudinal axis of said bar.
