Claims (6)

  1. Device for actuating at least one shunt (30) in a connector comprising a base (10) and a plug (12) with at least one pair of contacts (28) short-circuited by contacts (80, 82) on said shunt, the base (10) including a block (26) receiving each shunt (30), characterised in that it comprises actuation means (24), of which part (90) movable relative to the block is able to adopt:
    a first position in the immediate vicinity of each contact (80, 82) on each shunt when the contacts (28, 16) on the base and plug are connected electrically or partially connected mechanically, and
    a second position in which at least one (82) of the contacts on each shunt (30) is moved in order to put the contacts (28) on the base out of short-circuit when they are completely connected mechanically,
    and in that the block is provided with a channel (40) with a profile conjugate with that of the movable part (90) of the actuation means (24).
  2. Actuation device according to claim 1, characterised in that the movable part (90) of the actuation means (24) is an actuation finger able to move in translation in the channel (40), this finger (90) comprising at least one pusher (94, 96, 98) able to bear on at least one (82) of the contacts on each shunt.
  3. Actuation device according to claim 2, characterised in that each shunt (30) comprises an active wing (66, 68, 70) carrying a contact (82), a wing able to receive in abutment a pusher (94, 96, 98) provided on the actuation finger (90).
  4. Actuation device according to claim 3, characterised in that, in the case of several shunts, the active wings are offset in height (H1, H2, H3) and the actuation finger comprises a series of corresponding pushers (94, 96, 98) also offset in height.
  5. Actuation device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the contacts (28) on the base (10) are of the cage type, the contacts (16) on the plug (12) are of the flat blade type and the contacts (80, 82) on each shunt (30) are of the flexible blade type.
  6. Actuation device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the movable part (90) of the actuation means (24) is fixed to a bracket (14) for manoeuvring and locking the plug in the base.
