- the plug-in wall 24 is inclined at an angle ⁇ , of the order of 10 to 20 °, relative to the direction of insertion of the plug 12, represented by the arrow 34.
- this wall of plugging is connected to the bottom by a fillet making an arc of radius R.
- the support wall 26 is parallel to the direction of insertion of the plug and carries on a part of its surface the cables 18 stripped of the sheet 14 corresponding.
- a stop 36 makes it possible to limit the penetration of the cables and ensure optimal positioning.
- Each of the side walls 28 and 30 is provided with means 37 for guiding and locking, comprising two ramps 38, 40 for guiding, each in the form of a groove in the plane of the wall and two holes 42, 44, for obvious reasons of symmetry and stability.
- One 46, 48 of the ends of each of the ramps opens out at the edge of the housing 22 blind while the other 50, 52 of the ends is through down into the corresponding hole 42, 44.
- the holes 42, 44 have a particular profile, substantially in the form of rectangle triangle.
- Each large side 54, 56 of the right angle is aligned with the edge of the corresponding ramp 38, 40, which is on the side of the wall 24 plug-in.
- Each short side 58, 60 is longer than the width of the corresponding groove constituting the ramp.
- Each small side includes in addition a locking boss 62, 64, projecting into the hole 42, 44 corresponding.
- the other two angles are provided with a leave, of the same radius r , in the present case.
- the bottom 32 is provided with a through slot 66, through which the flexible circuit is likely to pass.
- Sheet 12 includes a block 68 of partially conjugated form of that of the housing 22 blind of the base and whose upper faces 69 and lower 70 are substantially parallel, with two lateral faces 71, 72 of guidance.

- Each cell is provided with a hole 75 for passage of an electrical contact 76 blade-shaped, each having a foot 78 and a head 80, and held in slots 77 provided in said block.
- Each contact 76 can take two positions, one, before mounting, in which the foot 78 of the contact is outside the socket and the other, after mounting, in which the foot 78 of the contact protrudes into the socket 74 to enter the conductive part of the corresponding cable and ensure the electrical connection.
- the foot is generally equipped with harpoons which prohibit the removal of each blade contact outside its slot after mounting.
- the head 80 of each contact 76 is in form of butt 82 whose free end is linear, which allows constitute a reminder effect.
- the plug also carries part of the means 37 for guiding and locking in the form of two ribs 84, 86.
- Each rib comprises a rectilinear part 88, 90 of width equal to the width of the ramps of the base, apart from the sliding clearance , and of length equal to that of the longest side 54, 56 of the hole 42, 44.
- the two ends 92, 94; 96, 98 of each rib are rounded with a radius of curvature equal to r , as for the leaves of the angles of the holes.
- the longitudinal axis of the rib also forms an angle ⁇ with the longitudinal axis of the block 68, the four faces of which are substantially parallel in pairs.
- ⁇ is rounded with a radius R identical to the radius R of the leave between the wall 24 for plugging in and the bottom 32.
- the plug is presented as shown in FIGS. 1A and 2A, that is to say, the longitudinal axis of the rib parallel to the direction d 'introduction indicated by arrow 34. Therefore, the block is inclined at an angle ⁇ so that the upper face is parallel to the wall 24 of insertion.
- the rib is positioned in the corresponding ramp, which allows, without effort, to push the plug into the base by translation, until the block comes to bear on the plug wall, the end of the block then being in contact with the bottom 32 of the blind housing of the base. More particularly, the end of the block cooperates with the radius leave R formed between the plug wall and the bottom. We are then in the position shown in FIGS. 1B and 2B.
- the plug To reach the position shown in FIGS. 1C and 2C, the plug must be tilted relative to the base according to arrow F , an operation which is also carried out with very little effort and with a good feeling of locking, thanks to the locking bosses.
- the rectilinear part 82 of the head 80 in the form of a butt of each contact 76 with blade of the plug comes into contact by pressure with the conductors 18 of the ply 14 of the base, this by the elasticity generated by the Crosse.
- each rib 84, 86 pivots in the corresponding hole 42, 44 and is blocked in this same hole, on the other side of the locking boss 62, 64 which constitutes a slight hard point.
- the plug 12 has its longitudinal axis and its lower face 70 parallel to the support wall 26 of the base while the longitudinal axis of the rib is inclined at an angle ⁇ relative to the direction of introduction. Therefore, each rib is blocked in the corresponding hole, preventing any extraction by translation of the plug from the base.
- the elastic support zone of the reed contacts on the flexible circuit makes it possible to locate the pressure of contact at each of the electrical connection points.
- this elastic support prevents the transmission of vibrations in the blade and therefore the movements of the foot by unhooking the harpoons by report to the block.
- FIGS. 3A, 3B and 3C there is shown a first mode of making the flexible circuit 14 on the base.
- the flexible circuit comprises, as shown in FIG. 3C, two ears 100, 102 in which are provided two holes 104, 106 provided to cooperate with pins 108, 110 for holding and positioning, integral with a plate 112.
- This plate includes two returns 114, 116 with holes 118, 120 which cooperate with studs from manufacturing with the base, such as 122, only visible.
- This plate is of adapted shape to fit into the base.
- the flexible circuit includes two ears 122, 124 in which are formed two holes 126, 128 provided to cooperate with pins 130, 132, holding and positioning integral with a plate 134.
- This plate includes two returns 136, 138 with holes 140, 142 which cooperate with studs coming from manufacture with the base, such as 144, only visible.
- the base is further provided with a slot 146, in instead of the slot 66 formed in the bottom of the blind housing 22. The flexible circuit is thus introduced through this slot, for an protruding part, of suitable length, the tablecloth protruding into the blind housing, substantially parallel to the support wall.
- FIGS. 5A, 5B and 5C makes it possible to appreciate the shape outside of the plug and socket and show an alternative embodiment with solid reed contacts.
- the difference on the plug is mainly to the right of the head 80 of the electrical contact 76 in the form of a blade.
- the elastic stock is eliminated in favor of a full head, therefore rigid.
- the head has a rounded end with a radius of curvature R , to simplify manufacture and ensure a quality electrical connection.
- the difference on the base is the position of the flexible circuit 14 which is introduced through the slot 66 at the bottom, but which is positioned on the plug-in wall, an additional blind slot 66-1 is provided in this wall to ensure good maintenance of this circuit.
- another radius R leave is provided between the bottom 32 and the support wall.
- the installation of the plug in the socket is strictly identical to the previous embodiments, by means of a 180 ° reversal of the plug, the ribs being oriented adequately to cooperate with the associated holes. Indeed, the upper face 69 is now facing the wall 26 for supporting the base.
- the plug and the base are then secured as in the modes previous work.
- the plug and the base are aligned after locking, in the working position, which is preferable, the insertion being effected by a translation, the plug and the base making an angle. ⁇ .
- the same functions are obtained with an insertion position in which the plug and the base are aligned and a locked position with these two elements making an angle ⁇ .
- the locking bosses 62, 64 on the rib and a hollow formed in the short side of the associated hole 42, 44, provided to receive each one of the bosses.
- the bosses could also be carried laterally by the rib or by the blind housing wall with a hollow opposite.
- the connector can be provided with second locking means.
- These second means of locking ensure the immobilization of the plug relative to the base in the tilting frame.
- These second means include a ring 148 sliding mounted on the upper end of block 68 of the plug and provided two lateral legs 150, 152 of profile and position adapted for each enter the groove of the corresponding ramp 38, 40.
- the ring is in the high position during the insertion and tilting operations and after tilting, the ring is lowered according to the arrow F ' , to make penetrate the tabs in the corresponding grooves, which ensures an anti-tilting of the plug relative to the base, which therefore prohibits any withdrawal in translation of the plug relative to the base and therefore disconnection.
