Claims (13)

  1.   2. Mechanical retaining device according to claim 1, characterized in that the fastening element (8) is provided such that it can be tilted.
  3. Mechanical retaining device according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that there is provided a baring block (9) which is provided on the fastening element (8) such that it can be tilted and is arranged in a rotatable manner.
  4. Mechanical retaining device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the force-transmitting element (5, 6) comprises at least two flexible connections.
  5. Mechanical retaining device according to claim 4, characterized in that the flexible connections (5, 6) are steel cables.
  6. Mechanical retaining device according to claim 1 to 5, characterized in that, in relation to the pulling direction, the flexible connections (5, 6) are crossed (15, 15a) with respect to one another downstream of the diverting element (16) and upstream of the fastening element (8, 9).
  7. Mechanical retaining device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the receiving vessel (2) is polygonal.
  8. Mechanical retaining device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the tensioning device (4) is equipped with a lever (20) which can be extended.
  9. Mechanical retaining device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the force-transmitting elements (5, 6) are tensioned and released by means of an electric motor (26, 27).
  10. Mechanical retaining device according to claim 9, characterized in that a releasable catch device (18) is arranged upstream of the electric motor (26, 27).
  11. Mechanical retaining device according to claim 9 or 10, characterized in that the electric motor (16, 17) is supplied with power of an appropriate magnitude and voltage by an upstream transformer (28).
  12. Mechanical retaining device according to one of claims 9 to 11, characterized in that the electric motor (26, 27) is controlled by a remote control means (30).
  13. Mechanical retaining device according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that a 220 V socket (32) is fixed to the stand for the connection of electric Christmas-tree lights.
