Claims (13)
- Method of drawing a material web (3; 4) into a web-fed rotary printing machine, characterized in that the material web (3; 4) is provided with at least one piece of retrievable, coded information (77; 78) containing a destination of the material web (3; 4), and in that this information (77; 78) controls adjusting elements for setting a web guide.
- Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the information (77; 78) is also passed on to adjusting elements and drives for synchronizing the printing and cutting units and drives of the material web (3; 4).
- Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the information (77; 78) is used for controlling cleaning operations.
- Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that a cut-off register is controlled on account of this information (77; 78).
- Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the information (77; 78) is in the form of a barcode.
- Apparatus for drawing a material web (3; 4) into a web-fed rotary printing machine, characterized in that the material web (3; 4) has at least one piece of coded information (77; 78) containing a destination of the material web (3; 4), and in that at least one signal-reading device (49; 51; 53 to 56; 58 to 69) which picks up the information (77, 78) is provided to interact with at least one adjusting element for setting a web guide.
- Apparatus according to Claim 6, characterized in that there is at least one signal-output device (47; 48) providing the material web (3; 4) with the information (77; 78).
- Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the signal-output device (47; 48) is arranged upstream of a first printing unit (11; 12), as seen in the production direction (A).
- Apparatus according to Claim 6, characterized in that a signal-reading device (49; 51) is arranged upstream of a first printing unit (11; 12), as seen in the production direction (A).
- Apparatus according to Claim 6, characterized in that a signal-reading device (53; 54, 55, 56) is arranged between printing units (11 to 14) and a slitting device (28).
- Apparatus according to Claim 6, characterized in that a signal-reading device (58 to 69) is arranged upstream of a longitudinal folding apparatus (43).
- Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the signal-output device (47; 48) is designed as a barcode transmitter.
- Apparatus according to Claim 6, characterized in that the signal-reading device (49; 51; 53 to 56; 58 to 69) is designed as a laser scanner.
