Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de télécommunications incluant un ou plusieurs terminaux mobiles (MT), une ou plusieurs stations de base, et une connexion avec un réseau de données ouvert, par exemple l'Internet. La connexion avec un tel réseau de données ouvert se fait via une passerelle de présentation distribuée (DVB) intégrant, d'une part une fonction (DTHF) de traitement des communications avec un terminal mobile, et d'autre part une fonction (DVF) de traitement des communications avec les ordinateurs clients exécutant les programmes pour le compte du terminal mobile (MT). Ce système fait qu'il est possible d'offrir, via un terminal mobile, des applications multimédia grosses consommatrices de ressources.
