Claims (11)

  1. Security system for an opening leaf of a motor vehicle of the type in which the opening leaf is held in the closed position by a lock which is operated by means of a handle arranged on the outside (18) of a bodywork panel (10) of the opening leaf, of the type in which the security system comprises means (14, 20) for detecting, remotely, by means of an electromagnetic signal, the presence of a user's hand near the handle, and of the type in which the detection means comprise a control circuit (20) and at least one sensor (14) capable of emitting or of receiving the electromagnetic signal characterized in that the hand-detecting means comprise an internal module (24) which contains the control circuit and which is arranged on the inside (16) of the bodywork panel (10), and an external module (26) comprising at least one casing (28) which extends axially through an opening (12) made in the bodywork panel and bears the sensor (14), in that the external module (26) is mounted axially from the outside inwards through the opening (12), and in that the external (26) and the internal(24) modules compose additional means of electrical connection which allow the sensor (14) to be electrically connected to the control circuit (20) and which automatically come into contact with one another when the two modules (24, 26) are mounted on the opening leaf.
  2. Security system according to Claim 1, characterized in that the additional means of connection comprise at least one elastically deformable element (44, 52).
  3. Security system according to Claim 2, characterized in that one (26) of the modules comprises at least one axially deformable contact (44) which is intended to come into contact with a corresponding block (46) borne by the other (24) of the modules.
  4. Security system according to Claim 2, characterized in that one (24) of the modules comprises at least one blade (52) which extends axially, which is deformable in a transverse direction so as to come to bear transversely against an axial wiper track (50) borne by the other module (26).
  5. Security system according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the casing (28) of the external module (26) comprises an external transverse wall (30) which is transparent to the electromagnetic signal, and a tubular skirt (32) which extends axially inwards from the external wall (30) to delimit a housing (38) in which the sensor (14) is arranged, and in that the means (44, 48, 56) of connecting the external module (26) are arranged at the internal transverse end of the tubular skirt (32).
  6. Security system according to Claim 5, characterized in that the housing (38) delimited by the tubular skirt (32) is open at its internal axial end.
  7. Security system according to either of Claims 5 and 6, characterized in that the internal module (24) comprises a case (22) in which the control circuit (20) is arranged, and in that the tubular skirt (32) of the external module (26) is guided through an orifice (43) in an external transverse wall of the case (22).
  8. Security system according to Claim 7, characterized in that the orifice (43) in the case (22) is delilmited by a tubular element (36), and in that there is a radial seal (40) between the tubular element (36) of the case (22) and the tubular skirt (32) of the external module (26).
  9. Security system according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the external module (26) is secured axially by elastic push-fitting means which cooperate with the bodywork panel (10).
  10. Security system according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises two sensors which are borne by the external module, and in that the external and internal modules comprise additional means of electrical connection which allow the two sensors to be electrically connected to the control circuit and which automatically come into contact with one another when the two modules are mounted on the opening leaf.
  11. Security system according to Claim 10, characterized in that the two sensors are respectively an emitter and a receiver of the electromagnetic signal.
