Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Krankenbett zur variablen Lagerung eines Patienten, mit einem Gestell (2), einem mit einem Koppelgetriebe (6, 7, 8, 9) versehenen Gelenkhubwerk (5), das von einer Antriebseinrichtung (20) mit zwei Antriebseinheiten (21, 22) betätigbar ist sowie einem Matratzenrahmen (14), der auf Tragelementen (10, 11) des Gelenkhubwerks (5) aufgenommen ist, wobei die Tragelemente (10, 11) im Bereich zweier paralleler, voneinander beabstandeter, horizontaler Querachsen (12, 13) angeordnet und zwischen einer höchsten und einer tiefsten Stellung heb- und senkbar sind und wobei die Tragelemente (10, 11) in ihrer tiefsten Stellung über das Gestell (2) hinausragen. Die Tragelemente (10, 11) sind im Bereich des Kopfbeziehungsweise des Fußendes des Gestells (2) angeordnet und liegen soweit auseinander, daß in jeder möglichen Lage des Matratzenrahmens (14) ein Abstand zwischen diesem und dem Gestell (2) besteht.
