Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Walzwerk, insbesondere ein Warmflachwalzwerk, mit
paarweisen Arbeitswalzen, die sich ggf. unmittelbar oder über Zwischenwalzen an
ebenfalls paarweisen Stützwalzen abstützen, wobei mindestens die Walzen eines der
Walzenpaare gegeneinander axial verschiebbar sind.
Um eine weitgehende Beeinflussung und Kompensation der infolge der thermischen
Bombierung und unter Last erfolgenden Durchbiegung der Walzen und der dadurch
entstehenden Walzspaltveränderungen zu ermöglichen und somit eine optimale Profil- und
Planheitsregelung dieses Walzwerkes zu erreichen, wird erfindungsgemäß
vorgeschlagen, daß mindestens jede Walze (1, 2) des verschiebbaren Walzenpaares
als Hohlwalze ausgebildet ist, deren Hohlräume (4, 5) bezogen auf die
Walzenlängsachse (6) drehsymmetrisch und bezogen auf eine gedachte, die
Walzenlängsachse (6) in der Walzballenmitte schneidende Querebene (7)
unsymmetrisch ausgebildet sind und beide Walzen (1, 2) des verschiebbaren
Walzenpaares mit identisch ausgebildeten Hohlräumen (4, 5) um 180° zueinander
gewendet eingebaut sind.
