Abstract

Beim normalen Zähneputzen können manche Stellen nur schwer erreicht werden. Die neue Zahnbürste soll nach dem üblichen Zähneputzen eingesetzt werden um restlichen Zahnbelag zu entfernen.
Um gut an schwer zugängliche Stellen, insbesondere unter die Haltebänder von Zahnspangen zu gelangen, ist der Bürstenkopf scheibenförmig bzw. zungenförmig gestaltet und sehr klein (Durchmesser, bzw. Breite ca. 5 mm. Höhe ca. 2mm, ohne Borsten). Durch die nach außen gerichteten und sehr kurzen Borsten (ca. 2- 4mm) werden Winkel gut erfaßt, und ein Hinweggleiten über kritische Stellen vermieden. Um eine gute Aufnahme des Zahnbelags zu erzielen, sind die einzelnen Borstenkreise so nach außen geneigt, daß sich zwischen ihnen V-förmige Öffnungen ergeben.
Die Zahnbürste eignet sich bei Kindern mit festsitzenden Zahnspangen zur zusätzlichen Reinigung im Bereich der Brackets und bei allen Personen zur ergänzenden Reinigung der Zähne im Bereich des Zahnfleischansatzes, der Zahnzwischenräume und der Zahninnenseiten.
