The profile, arranged continuously or not, has elastic
means of attachment (6), which are antagonists of others
for lateral attachment and support of the vertical pieces
of panelling (7), and also another elastic fitting (9) for
absorbing tensions produced by alternative arrangements of
hanging pieces and, finally, it has frontal longitudinal
sockets (1.4) and (1.5) for inserting shelves (5), hangers

Description
- The invention proposed here consists of a lifting profile for panelling with ornamental stone, to be grouped among lathing profiles for walls, for attaching pieces of marble and the like.
- This invention is characterized in that the arrangement of the profile is continuous or non-continuous and is provided with elastic means of attachment, which are antagonists of other means of lateral attachment and support of the vertical pieces of panelling, as well as another elastic fitting to absorb tensions produced by alternative arrangements of hanging pieces and, finally, frontal, longitudinal grooves for inserting shelves, hangers and other means of attaching objects to the panelled wall.
- Laths or other types of profiles for attaching pieces of whatever type by means of a "floating method" to building surfaces of whatever type and/or inclination, are widely known and do not require additional explanation.
- The applicant does not know of the existence of profiles which have the features described in the present specification.
- The invention that is the object of the present specification refers to a lifting profile, for application to panelling that is preferably, but not exclusively, of large vertical surface area, to be carried out with any type of ornamental stone, among which we select principally large pieces of marble for coverings. This lifting profile, which is to be grouped among lathing profiles for walls, is for attaching this type of marble pieces and other similar ornamental stone.
- This invention applies to coverings of surfaces which have to be fitted with shelves or whatever type of supporting and/or holding means for a large number of ordinary objects of everyday life, both for domestic use and otherwise.
- Preferably these laths are designed to be quickly and immediately recovered, as well as the pieces they support, without damage to the pieces, enabling them to be replaced. For example, they apply to the embellishment of rented commercial premises, where the panelling may be removed, being a covering that can be dismantled.
- This invention is characterized in that the profile is arranged continuously, based on a very irregular T-shaped metal plate with its wings arranged against the wall to which they are attached, in multiple horizontal alignment and at the required distance, according to the dimensions of the pieces of ornamental stone to be used.
- The profile is made of metallic material, preferably extruded, for example, anodized aluminium, stainless steel or the like, which displays a decorative finish in its visible area, corresponding to the free end of the upright of the "T".
- The profile has a number of undercuttings, for lessening weight, in the intermediate area between the upright and both wings, as well as at the end of the lower thickened wing and in that of the upright of the "T".
- Finally, there are other sockets, in the form of frontal longitudinal grooves for inserting shelves, hangers and other means of attaching objects to the panelled wall, which have different sizes and are curved in an upward and inward direction in order to facilitate the introduction and support of, for example, the two antagonistic ends of the inner side of the shelf.
- In addition, the profile has elastic means of attachment that cover the strengthening projection of the insertion sockets, arranged antagonistically with respect to other projections in the lower area of the profile, for side attachment and support of the vertical pieces of panelling.
- It also has another elastic fitting, situated in a lacuna of the inner side of the lower wing of the "T", which serves as a rear check and has the purpose of absorbing tensions produced by alternative arrangements of hanging pieces and which do not transmit their load to the equivalent lower piece through the profile.
- The check area of the pieces with the projections is provided with a conventional epoxi resin, which may be broken with a simple blow of the fist when it is wished to dismantle the panelling, and attachment to the floor or ceiling is carried out with any conventional means, for example, a wedge.
- To complement the description being given and in order to facilitate a fuller and easier understanding of the features of the invention, the present specification is accompanied, as an integral part of the same, by a set of drawings in which, in an illustrative but non-restrictive way, the following is represented:
- Figure 1 shows a section of the profile of the invention, with the improvements described in the same and the position of the two adjacent pieces that correspond to it, showing in exploded form the incorporation, in this case, of a shelf.
-
- In the light of the foregoing description, the present invention refers to a lifting profile, for application to the panelling of vertical surfaces in ornamental stone, to be grouped among lathing profiles for walls, for attaching this type of pieces, provided with insertion means for shelves and other supporting and/or holding means. The said lifting profile for dismountable panelling is characterized in that it is made of metallic material, preferably extruded, for example, anodized aluminium, stainless steel or the like, made up of a continuous, very irregular, T-shaped metal plate on its side, decoratively finished in its visible area, corresponding to the free end (1.1) of the upright (1) of the "T" and with its upper wing (2) provided with a perforation (2.1) for attachment to the wall (3), as well as a number of lacunae (1.2), (1.3) and (4.1) in the lower wing (4) for lessening the weight, and frontal longitudinal sockets (1.4) and (1.5) for inserting the ends (5.1) of shelves (5), hangers and other means of attachment, of different size and curved upward and inward in order to facilitate their introduction and support.
- The profile has lateral elastic means of attachment (6) and means of support for the pieces of panelling (7) consisting of ends inserted and held by epoxi resin (8), which breaks when the panelling is dismantled. Another elastic fitting (9) serves, in addition to being a rear check, to absorb tensions from the hanging arrangement of the pieces (7) in the case of non-continuous panelling, while attachment of the ends, at floor or ceiling, is carried out by means of a wedge or other conventional means.
- This specification will not be protracted further, as it is understood that any expert in this field will have sufficient information to understand the scope of the invention and the advantages it offers, and to reproduce the same.
- It is understood that, the essential nature of the invention being unchanged, in respect of variations in both materials and form, the size and arrangement of the parts are amenable to variation within the characterization itself.
- The terms used in the specification and the meaning of the same are always to be considered in a non-restrictive way.
