Abstract

The alarm consists of two switches or sensors attached to different positions on the blinds and in contact with the alarm display appts (8). One sensor or switch (9) is located between two adjacent roller blind slats. There is normally a gap between the slats. If they are pressed together the circuit is closed at that point. The other sensor or switch (7) is located at the lowers roller blind slat and is connected in series with the other sensor. It is in connection (12) with an alarm appts (8). The sensor/switch is activated when it looses contact with the floor (1). The alarm is thus activated with the roller blind is raised up from below as both sensors are activated in that condition. The alarm is acoustic, optical and/or provides a radio signal.

Description

The invention relates to an alarm system for roller shutters or roller shutters, which can be easily installed on existing roller shutters or roller shutters.
The alarm system is designed in such a way that when the roller shutters are normally opened and closed, no alarm is triggered, but an alarm is only triggered when the roller shutters are pushed up from below. Switching on and off is therefore not necessary and a false alarm is hardly possible.

Roller shutters only offer optimal burglary protection if they are secured against being pushed up. There are a variety of mechanical securing options to make it difficult to push up the roller shutters. With mechanical security, the burglar usually has time to overcome the security device with a suitable tool. In comparison to mechanical security devices, which are intended to prevent the roller shutters from being pushed up, an alarm system with an acoustic signal, which reacts when the first push-up attempt is made, is even more effective. When a siren sounds, a burglar will no longer concern himself with the roller shutter, but will flee.

Not only mechanical but also electrical burglar alarms for roller shutters are known. In the case of an alarm device for roller shutters FR 2584216, a switching element is located above the roll-up axis in the roller shutter box. If the roller shutter is pushed up from outside by the company, the roller shutter slats are not wound tightly onto the roller shutter axis, but touch a switch that is located above the roller axis in the roller shutter box. This closes the circuit and triggers an alarm.
A disadvantage of the alarm device described above is that no alarm is triggered when the roller shutter slats are torn out of the guide rail from below.

It is an object of the present invention to eliminate the disadvantages described above.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.

Malerarbeiten.
A further advantage of this invention is that an alarm is signaled every time the roller shutter is attempted to be pushed up, since it does not matter how far the roller shutter has been lowered. In this invention, an alarm is always signaled when someone tries to slide his fingers under the lowest roller shutter slat and then push the roller shutter up.
The low installation effort is particularly advantageous. Neither a screw has to be fastened nor a hole drilled. Because the alarm system is completely installed on the roller shutter using a special adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape within five to ten minutes. In contrast to the invention FR 2584216, the roller shutter box does not have to be opened in this invention. This saves considerable assembly effort and possible painting work.

Since the roller shutter alarm system reacts very reliably, it is particularly suitable for integrating it into a house alarm system, which can be achieved in particular with the aid of radio signals.

The roller shutter alarm system consists of two switches or sensors attached to the roller shutter at different positions, which are connected to the alarm display device (8).
A sensor or switch (9) is located between two adjacent roller shutter slats and is arranged so that the circuit is closed at this point when the roller shutter slats are pressed together. This technique takes advantage of the fact that all roller shutter slats must have a few millimeters of play so that they can be wound onto an axis in the roller shutter box. This play between two adjacent roller shutter slats is shown in the light and air slots (10), which disappear when the roller shutter is fully lowered. This change in light and ventilation slots open or closed can be registered with a sensor or switch. Instead of these sensors or switches (9), two current-conducting strips (9) are particularly suitable for performing the function due to the ease of installation. The other sensor or switch (7) is located on the lowest roller shutter slat (2) and is connected in series with the sensor or switch which is located between the roller shutter slats (3) and (4) and is connected by a power line ( 12) in connection with the alarm indicator (8). The switch or sensor (7) switches through when it loses contact with the bottom bar (1).
In the alarm display device (8), only one alarm is signaled when the roller shutter is pushed up from below, because the circuit is only completely closed by the two switches or sensors (7) and (9) in this non-operational position.
The special feature of the invention is that the user can pull the roller shutter up and down and at the same time can be sure that the roller shutter alarm system is always activated. If a burglar would even slide his hand between the bottom bar (1) and the bottom roller shutter slat, an alarm would be triggered. This is not the case with other possible security devices that are always automatically armed.

Further refinements of the invention are characterized in the subclaims.

The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment which is illustrated in the schematically simplified drawings.

Es zeigt:

Fig. 1
Fig. 2
Sensor (7) in Durchschaltposition befindet.
Fig. 3
Fig. 4
It shows:
Fig. 1
an interior view on the fully lowered shutters
The illustration shows the bottom bar (1), the roller shutter slats (2) - (6), the roller shutter box (11), the contact area (13) and the alarm display device (8), which is on the bottom roller shutter slat (2) with a Special adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape or attached in some other way, furthermore, a sensor or switch (7) can be seen on the lowest roller shutter slat (2), which interrupts the circuit in this position. The power line (12) connects all switches or sensors to the alarm display device (8). Furthermore, between the roller shutter slats (3) and (4) instead of a sensor or switch, two current-carrying strips (9) can be seen, which perform the same function as a switch or sensor. In the case of very wide roller shutters, it is advisable to install additional current-conducting strips between two adjacent roller shutter slats at suitable intervals in order to ensure maximum safety. The current-conducting strips (9) are mounted in such a way that the circuit is closed at this point as shown here when the roller shutter slats (3) and (4) lie on top of each other. However, an alarm is not reported to the alarm display device because the sensor or switch (7) interrupts the circuit, because this is a series connection.
Fig. 2
an interior view of the roller shutters that have not been completely lowered, the lowest roller shutter slat (2) also not having any contact with the ground
In the figure it can be seen that the current-conducting rails (9), which are separated by the light and ventilation slot (10), do not touch each other, therefore no alarm is reported to the alarm indicator, regardless of whether the switch or Sensor (7) is in the switching position.
Fig. 3
an interior view of the lowered shutters, which outside the company is pushed up from outside
The figure shows that the current-conducting rails (9) are touching and the switch or sensor (7) is in the switch-through position, which is why an alarm is triggered on the alarm indicator.
Fig. 4
an interior view of the alarm display device
The figure shows that the alarm indicator (8) is attached to the lowest roller shutter slat (2). The signal transmitter (15) is activated by the sensors or switches (7) and (9) when the roller shutter is pushed up. The alarm display device (8) is supplied with current by means of a rechargeable battery or a battery (16). In the case of battery operation, the battery can be charged with the aid of a charger via a charging socket (14) or automatically by the power supply contacts (17/18) on the roller shutter slat (2) and by the power supply contacts (19/20) in the bottom bar (1) when the door is down Roller shutters can be loaded. Battery operation is actually not necessary since the alarm indicator (8) only consumes electricity when the roller shutter is pushed up from the outside and the signal transmitter is thereby activated.
The alarm display device (8) must be constructed as narrow as possible (approx. 1 cm to 1.5 cm wide) so that it can disappear into the roller shutter box and slide on the floor between the bottom roller shutter slat (2) and door or window frames in between.
