Inking unit for an offset sheet printing press with an ink fountain roller (2) having its own drive, a vibrator roller (3) as well as further rollers (4 -17), wherein some of these rollers (6, 8, 11, 12, 13) have their own drive, characterised in that the inking unit has as well as rollers (4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13) with their own drive, exclusively rollers standing directly in contact with these (5, 7, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17) without their own drive.
  2. Inking unit according to Claim 1, characterised in that at least one of the rollers disposing of its own drive (4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13) is driveable corresponding to the peripheral speed of the plate cylinder (18).
  3. Inking unit according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that at least one of the rollers disposing of its own drive (4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13) has a drive derived from the rotary movement of the plate cylinder (18).
  4. Inking unit according to one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that at least one of the rollers disposing of its own drive (4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13) has an electrically controllable drive.
  5. Inking unit according to Claim 4, characterised in that the drive can be subjected to a desired value which can be chosen corresponding to the actual press speed.
