Abstract

Dargestellt und beschrieben ist eine Fassung für Leuchtstofflampen, insbesondere für Ringlampen, mit einem an einem Leuchtenteil zu befestigenden Fassungskörper aus Isolierstoff, der einen zu einer Seite des Fassungskörpers, insbesondere zu seiner Ansichtsseite hin offenen Aufnahmekanal für den Lampensockel sowie mindestens eine dem Aufnahmekanal benachbarte, sich zur Ansichtsseite hin öffnende Kammer für Kontaktelemente umfaßt, in die die Lampenkontaktstifte quer zu ihrer Längserstreckung einsetzbar sind. Erfindungsgemäß ist dabei vorgesehen, daß an dem Fassungskörper wenigstens eine Klappe angelenkt ist, die aus einer Offenstellung vor dem Einsetzen des Lampensockels in eine Verschlußstellung bei eingesetztem Lampensockel verschwenkbar ist, in der zumindest die Öffnung der Kammer ansichtsseitig überdeckt ist. Dadurch ist die Lampenfassung gegen eindringende Verunreinigungen geschützt. Ferner bietet die Klappe einen wirksamen Berührungsschutz und stellt eine optisch befriedigende Fassungsabdeckung dar.
