Abstract
Bei einem Verfahren zur Vakuumaufkohlung unter Behandlungsgas, bei der Stahl im Grobvakuum bei Gasdrücken bis zu etwa 20 mbar unter Verwendung von Propan (C3H8) als Kohlenstoffspender bei einer Temperatur von etwa 250 °C aufgekohlt wird, wird dem Propan Wasserstoffgas (H2) in einem Verhältnis von etwa 1 : 1 bis etwa 1 : 2 (Wasserstoffüberschuß) zugemischt, wobei das Absaugen der Zersetzungsprodukte des Propans über einen mit der Behandlungskammer verbundenen Pumpstand erfolgt.In a process for vacuum carburizing under treatment gas, in which steel is carburized in a rough vacuum at gas pressures of up to about 20 mbar using propane (C 3 H 8 ) as a carbon donor at a temperature of about 250 ° C, the propane is hydrogen gas (H 2 ) in a ratio of about 1: 1 to about 1: 2 (excess hydrogen), the extraction of the decomposition products of the propane taking place via a pumping station connected to the treatment chamber.
