Aus der EP 0 716 171 A2 ist eine Schussfadenstreck- und -detektiereinrichtung für
Düsenwebmaschinen bekannt, in der in einer technischen Einheit das Schussfadenstrecken
erfolgt und in der eventuell auftretende Langschüsse oder Schussfadenbrüche detektiert und
das erzeugte Signal einer Webmaschinensteuerung signalübertragend mitgeteilt wird.
Der mittels eines strömenden Mediums zu streckende Schussfaden wird dabei aus der
Schussfadeneintragsebene, die die erste Anordnungsebene für einen Schussfadenführungskanal
in der bekannten Einrichtung bildet, in einen in einer zweiten Anordnungebene
liegenden Schussfadenführungskanal gelenkt, was dem Strecken des Schussfadens entspricht.
Ist das Schussfadenstrecken deaktiviert, wird der Schussfaden in einen stromabwärts des
Schussfadeneintragkanals in der Einrichtung vorhandenen Schussfadenführungskanal
eingetragen und gegebenenfalls durch den Luftstrom einer vorhandenen Düseneinrichtung
gestreckt, ohne dabei den Schussfaden abzulenken.
Die bekannte Einrichtung besitzt neben ihrem Vorteil, wonach die Position der
Schussfadenwächter in den beiden Anordnungsebenen entsprechend dem
Längendehnungsverhalten der Schussfäden festlegbar ist, den Nachteil, dass jede
Anordnungsebene jeweils einen Schussfadenwächter erfordert und dass wegen der im
Vergleich zum Schussfadeneintragskanal des Webblattes ungünstigeren
Luftströmungsverhältnisse des in der ersten Anordnungsebene liegenden Schussfadenführungskanals
eine zusätzliche nicht dargestellte Düseneinrichtung zum Strecken des

Schussfadenwächter verschiebbar angeordnet ist, wobei der Schussfadenwächter die Ankunft
eines inkorrekten Schussfadens überwacht und ein entsprechendes elektrisches Signal einer

Ferner sei erwähnt, dass im Rahmen von Funktionserprobungen der erfindungsgemäß
ausgebildeten Einrichtung erkannt wurde, dass mit dem Verzicht auf den mittleren Abschnitt
des sich in der ersten Anordnungsebene erstreckenden Fadenführungskanals keine
Beeinträchtigung des Schussfadenfluges einhergeht.
Vielmehr ist die Größe der den Schussfaden beschleunigenden Energie noch ausreichend, um
im Falle eines Schussfadenbruches die abgerissene Schussfadenlänge in der ersten oder

Schussfadeneintragskanal 2a eines Webblattes 2 eingetragenen Schussfadens 11 und aus
einer zweiten separaten technischen Einheit 1b mit Mitteln 10 zum Führen und Detektieren
eines inkorrekt in den Schussfadeneintragskanal 2a des Webblattes 2 eingetragenen
Schussfadens 11, wobei beide technischen Einheiten stromabwärts des
Schussfadeneintragkanals angeordnet sind und die zweite technische Einheit 1b relativ zur
ersten technischen Einheit 1a auf der Blattleiste 3 einstellbar ist.
Zum Detektieren des inkorrekten Schussfadens ist für beide Fadenführungen 4 und 6
lediglich ein Schussfadenwächter 10 vorgesehen.
