Abstract

The vapor extraction hood or chimney, over a cooking stove or range, has a base hood (2) and at least one extension (4) to be fitted as required. The base (2) has a stand-alone extraction function, and can be fitted with a filter for grease and smell, and a suction fan. The extensions (4) have mountings (14,16) for fitting and removal at the hood base (2).
