Claims (2)

  1. Main courante (1) pour une échelle, la main courante comprenant deux éléments longitudinaux disposés parallèlement, l'un desdits éléments (2") étant un élément intérieur qui peut être fixé sur un élément latéral (4) d'une échelle, et l'autre élément (5) étant un élément extérieur servant de guide pour la main d'un utilisateur, la main courante étant formée de façon solidaire et assurant un espace ouvert entre les éléments d'un bout à l'autre de la main courante (1), des éléments de fixation en deux parties (3'), comprenant chacun une pièce entretoise (6') et une pièce de serrage (7') qui peuvent être reliées entre elles et formés d'un côté de façon à être rattachés à un élément latéral d'une échelle et du côté opposé de façon à être rattachés à l'élément intérieur de la main courante, caractérisée en ce que ledit élément intérieur est formé de plusieurs cannelures (14) disposées longitudinalement sur l'extérieur de l'élément intérieur, et ledit moyen de fixation étant formé d'un talon (13) qui peut être logé dans l'une desdites cannelures, la main courante pouvant ainsi être fixée à des positions inclinées prédéterminées par rapport à une échelle et à des positions longitudinales souhaitées y compris une extension de la main courant au-delà de l'extrémité d'une échelle.
  2. Main courante selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que des inserts sont prévus entre le moyen de fixation (3') et l'élément latéral (4) d'une échelle, lesdits inserts étant formés de façon complémentaire par rapport au profil en section transversale de l'élément latéral (4).
